Re: Your fleet running reports

I collected the 320d (177) SE the other day. Very happy with it. Drove well on the way home and autobox shifted nicely. Engine feels strong too. Downside were that MOT showed up needing new tyres which they duly replaced. Sadly tyres were winters and a 50 profile rather than 45 😂. They're random Chi...

Re: No F1 thread?

Barely watch F1 nowdays but was really looking forward to this. That result has made it feel like wasted time. Disgrace! Not a fair outcome.

I went for my booster today and there had been an I.T. error meaning I'd been booked into the wrong venue.

My first free gift pair of Bose 700 headphones have arrived today. Beautifully packaged and feeling like a real quality piece of kit. I must say I'm impressed so far. Just filling them with electricity and I can give them a whirl.

Re: Your fleet running reports

In order to look after the MX5 and because it has a goosed alternator we decided to buy the wife a new snotter to do the school and work run (24miles per day). We've just put a deposit on a 58 plate 320d (177) SE auto with 96k on the clock and service history. It's rolling on 17" style 285's an...

How much would you expect to get as a trade-in allowance for a well cared for Bremont Alt 1C/BLK (all packaging, papers and original receipt) against a new TAG Monaco Gulf. It was luring me onto rocks like the sirens this morning in Nottingham and I'm gong to see it again and be told the trade-in a...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Audi serviced, now on long-life intervals. I swallowed the cost and used a main dealer since it's still under warranty for another 20 months; so I was very pleased when they called and offered me a service plan covering today's the next service for £449 (25% off currently, subsidised by Audi). Two ...

Re: Your fleet running reports

1990 Mk1 MX5 has being boringly reliable until today but it appears that the alternator is dying. Bloody typical as I'm away from Wed-Sat and I bet I can't get one tomorrow. That'll be some freezing cold knuckle smashing fun to change. I'll bet some of those 31yr old nuts and bolts will come undone ...

https://www.dkeng.co.uk/ferrari-sales/1543/prestige_cars/alpina_b3_touring.html 🤤 That's fantastic. Great colour inside and out and as rapid a daily as you'd need. Lovely!! Lovely car but 80K?? When did that happen? The colour inside is just too bright though isn't it? Its so close to being a class...

No plugging in needed, which sounds like a faff  ;)

Not quite as exciting here, although I'm having to do that embarrassing thing of buying an ice scraper (can't find my one) and winter screenwash because I kinda forgot about that one. After, of course, improvising an ice scraper out of whatever toot was in the car. This time, a soft bristled brush ...
