Re: The Sphere in Vegas (nd)

I would love to know how the video elements work - it's hardly like dropping an .mov file onto a hard drive is it? In that first clip there seemed to be lots of nested live feeds from cameras running on the band, so there must be at the very least multiple sections of video running concurrently and ...

Re: Rugby World Cup

So who's gonna win then?

I don't mind admitting facing South Africa after they came from behind like that is quite daunting. They must be so fucking hyped up and that's not a version of South Africa I fancy squaring up against.

Another contender for 'this could have been a final' - two nights on the bounce.

Re: Rugby World Cup

I haven't been that nervous watching a game since the France vs NZ final some years back. I was still shaking with nerves 40mins after the whistle blew. Absolutely awesome game and a major tap of the hat to Ireland, that could have gone the other way so easily.

Re: Rugby World Cup

I mean that's heart breaking stuff. :( I imagine the Fijian team will mark that somehow, maybe prayer or a ceremonial something at the game. Potential that their Cibi may be directed at the player's son or something like that. There's no doubt at all that they will mark that passing and sacrifice so...

There's probably that many Tongans in Auckland. Huge amount of Pacific Islanders from all across that area in Auckland, essentially coming here to work to send money back home to the islands and forming not-so-small communities here too. Every Pacific Islander I've worked with has been absolutely wo...

One of Barry's mates was sticking a 750 V12 in a Caterham clone many moons ago - always did wonder if that ever got running.

What are our thoughts about buying a WD Red disc that isn't on the compatibility list for a 4-bay NAS? One of my discs has just retired itself and the two WD Red models Synology list as compatible have different model numbers to what I can buy here? They list WD60EFRX - 68L0BN and WD60EFRX - 68MYMN1...

Who wouldn't like to be destroyed by goths? Just remember to put them back in their cupboard when you're done... BAD things will happen with long term exposure. ;)

I built the Tranquil Garden set recently which I was surprisingly entertained by. Kinda only really bought it because I'm a sucker for anything Japanese culture but the set was genuinely a lot of fun to make. It's difficult to describe in words, but I tend to make things following the instructions a...

My guess is that the landscape itself is a separate image, and each 'section' of the road that's visible is likely a separate image and the whole thing is combined. Whether each section is each individual corner or several I'm not sure. I'm not familiar with the road at all, but even if the two driv...

Quite the cover shot this month - subs copy looks amazing. (Not that I get it any more) https://twitter.com/stuartg917/status/1699295989780090985 I commented on that image on a few of the posts that the team have made. I'd like to think I know by now how to take photos of pretty much everything and...
