Seriously though, does anyone else want to know why SJ suddenly has beef with Rev?
His friend getting sick seems like a weird reason to have a go at him.

Re: Coronavirus
It's lung function which is the big issue, I imagine - not sure whether being overweight affects pneumonia much. How close to you lot is Coronavirus reaching? My brother-in-law's 6yr old son has it (at least, suspected) and one of his best mates has it (definitely). I've not seen either of them in ...

Re: Coronavirus
That being said, being 'clinically overweight' isn't really difficult - I'm 6ft and 13.5st which by the standard BMI chart means I'm clinically overweight :? Yeah, BMI is pretty useless if you’re over average size. I’m 6’4” and quite a big build so I came in overweight at 16 stone. The nurse just l...

Re: Coronavirus
I don’t think that was called for SJ.
I don’t think anyone is “revelling in the doom & gloom”.

Re: Coronavirus
Ah that sucks, we’re still pretty busy on the website and we’ve furloughed most of our hourly paid staff so hopefully we won’t need to go down that route for the salaried people.
I was due a pay review at the start of April, probably be a bit cheeky to bring it up just now though.

Re: Coronavirus
It’s neither, it has it’s own classification. Some milder variants will be confused with a cold as the symptoms are similar but the actual virus itself is different from a cold or a flu.

Re: Coronavirus
Sorry for tour loss Simon, we’re in a similar situation just now. My grandad is being isolated in a hospital in Arizona after having stroke. We weren’t sure if he was going to pull through and were gutted that we might not be able to say goodbye but he’s still going so hopefully h...

Aye, he’s not doing anything mad with it. When I was there we just serviced it, made sure it turned over and got it fitted into the chassis.
Will still be a useful amount more powerful than the rover though and loads more reliable.

Re: The ebay thread
Aye, my mate bought one to put in his new off road buggy.
Was over a couple of weeks ago to give him a hand pulling the Rover V8 out and getting it ready to put in.

Re: The ebay thread
Aye, that would make more sense. My mate and I have got a thing for a Cummins in a big car just now after seeing the recent Roadkill with the Gran Torino
A hot Pontiac 400 to keep it periodish would be fun but then your looking at a lot more money.

Also: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F223958715594 It's got 8 exhausts. I likey!! And diesel V8 appeals 😱 That engine is garbage tbh. There’s plenty of choice for swaps though. Would be a good base for a Cummins swap Rev 😉. I like the Granada. I re...
