Re: Your fleet running reports

Has anyone got a spare copy of Autocar from 21 Apr 1999 lying around ? This one's on ebay for £7 but I'm a bit pikey.

Re: Your fleet running reports

It's bit more complex by the looks of it. I found a supplier of replacements though and they're not too bad price-wise:

Not sure how easy the job is though.

Re: Your fleet running reports

Ah, this is going to keep me busy  There's nothing serious just loads of minor stuff. 1) First off, and fixed already (!) the engine cover wasn't properly latching closed. I think the bloke had been driving it with it undone the whole time. It would latch, just, but would easily pop open again ...

You have to admit it is fairly convincing. From a great distance perhaps  Nice window fitment on the door. Screenshot 2023-07-25 223116.jpg Tail pipes are in the wrong place. Re: Trackers (seemingly very much ND)

Issue is now fully moot. Admiral have covered it without a tracker *and* with Gavster as a named driver (Reis wouldn't put him on there). Reis were ~£100 cheaper but wanted a tracker, subscription for which is well over £100pa, plus buying it in the first place. Great deal from Admiral. I'm really s...

Re: Trackers (seemingly very much ND)

Hmm. OK then. Using a comparison site, it seems Admiral don't care about a tracker, and are only just over £100/pa more for the policy, which easily covers the subscription, but obviously saves on the cost of the tracker itself and the stress of having someone touching my car in intimate places. I w...

Re: Trackers (seemingly very much ND)

I got a battery powered one (Tracker) for the Evora as insurance insisted on it when I got the car…. That avoided anyone arsing about with the loom. Got a good deal on 5yr sub and they have to be replaced after that time anyway. No idea what category it is though. Cat 5 appears to be the highest ca...

I've not tried, but probably easier said than done, and tbf the insurance is now coming in under £350, which would be incredibly hard to beat.

I'll do a comparison site quote just for teh lolz.
