Re: Recommend a car for my FiL

My wife has a petrol mild hybrid Suzuki Vitara, 1.4 turbo petrol with a bit of help from the hybrid gubbins. Ours is a manual but autos are available. We bought ours at 2.5 years old for 15k.

Re: Jack envy

I've recently bought a 2 ton trolley jack from SGS which has a 360 degree rotating handle. It's ideal if you're jacking up a car in a garage as you can angle the handle so that it doesn't hit the wall.

The 635 is stunning 8-)

I'm old enough to remember watching them race in what ever the British Touring Cars was called then.

Part of the mx5 dash cluster is an LCD display which shows mileage, engine temp, fuel gauge and a few other things. Out driving today and it suddenly failed resulting in this https://scontent.fdsa2-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t39.30808-6/419378772_7284637838282497_7469349432985057854_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_s1080x2...

Re: Car Plans 2024

We've sold two cars to Cazoo and they couldn't be more different from WBAC. Just a quick inspection of the car and no chipping the price, obviously you have to be honest in the description but when filling in the condition report on the website it does guide you well.

Re: Coronavirus

I tested positive on Boxing Day, the only reason I did a test was because I had an horrendous cough that was almost causing me to throw up. That cleared up after a few days but then I was suffering from an upset stomach and terrible muscle fatigue in my legs. I could barely walk at one point and it'...

MX5 owners

They are a special breed.

This is from the FB MX5 group

"Hi guys and gals!
Today Mazda service told me to replace my disc and pads on my mx5 2017 icon only the front one. Can this be right? I thought the mx5 brakes were on the back ?
Thanks"

I only bought the mx5 in May so that won't be going anywhere. The Panda 4x4 has barely turned a wheel since I've had the mx5 but winter is on the way! We are thinking of changing my wife's Focus but she only works in the office one day a week so it rarely gets used, 6 years old and 18000 miles on t...
