Stick the car details in Cazoo, they may well beat your PX price and in my experience there is no haggling.
Re: New car!
I’ve totally lost track with the different Porsche models so put a private plate on that and I’d think it was a couple of years old.

Re: Mountain Biking general thread
Re the RRP Proguard, I’ve had them on previous bikes and although pricey they are very good. The Rockshox forks on this bike don’t have the pre drilled holes to mount them so it’d still be zip ties to hold it on. Plus I’m on a strict budget with this bike

Re: Mountain Biking general thread
I've been wanting to buy a cheapish mountain bike to keep in our motorhome as it was a pain taking my bike to and from the motorhome now that I don't have a van, yeah first world problems. I wasn't bothered about full suspension but I did want an air fork, thru axles front and rear and 29" whee...

Re: Interest rates on savings
Couldn’t agree more. When I had a mortgage the speed at which the letter arrived telling me of an interest rate rise was impressive  I’ve got premium bonds which are returning about 3% over the year helped by a £500 win one month. They aren’t as good as they used to be though as the prize stru...

Re: Your fleet running reports
We've had a shake up of the fleet and after two years the Panda has gone along with my wife's Focus which she has owned for just over three years. They have been replaced by a single car which is a Suzuki Vitara hybrid (2WD!). We sold both the cars to Cazoo as their prices are still way higher than ...

Re: Your fleet running reports
On Monday It failed on a rear brake imbalance so I picked up a kit from euros on the way home and fitted a new cylinder to the affected side and a new shoe kit. What a horrible job, every spring wants to fight you the whole way through. The kit came pre-assembled but unless you take the hub off the...

56 in March.
Out of all the "big" birthdays hitting 50 was the one that made me realise I'm getting on a bit. Hitting 40 didn't bother me at all although it does seem to be the landmark birthday for many people.

I see Pistonheads are holding a 25th celebration event at Bicester in August.
I tend to just go to local classic car shows generally with occasional trips further afield if I can tie it in with something else.

Re: Holiday pricing??
The caravan/motorhome market is still silly too which I'm sure has something to do with the price of all holidays. Not sure if I've posted this but we sold out motorhome in August and we could have sold it five times over easily. The couple who bought it were having a weekend locally and then headin...

Re: Your fleet running reports
It's not as comfortable as the Jag but significantly faster and I have to be careful coming out of junctions as it wants to break traction on even medium throttle openings. This needs to be explored in a safe environment. A Maccys car park it probably the best place. Be sure to put trays under the ...
