Re: Your fleet running reports

Transit update: I removed the a shelf unit from the back to make some more room, and because I was just filling it up with crap. It's made a fair difference to the space available, and I also discovered another battery in the grey box, which makes a total of three  This one's a leisure battery ...

I hope you've got good security on it as that era Transit seem to be one of the most stolen vehicles at the moment.
Get a fake OBD2 port off ebay, and a disklok - it's old school but it works.

Re: Teh Spotted Thread

Egham is a disgrace - changing the lane required to go straight ahead has been too much for the mouth breathers. I can’t believe how long it’s taken to change two roundabouts into one! Yeah it is a minor disaster zone. I just get in which ever lane seems to be quickest and TLGP it away from the jun...

one of the guys in my office was talking about that too - caused havoc in Egham apparently. Yeah, because Egham needs more traffic chaos at the moment  Egham is a disgrace - changing the lane required to go straight ahead has been too much for the mouth breathers. Eight silver RR Phantoms, doing 5mph on the A30 near Staines, behind a horse drawn herse yesterday. Some sort of traveler funeral from the look of it. I was quite impressed that anyone could get that many Phantoms in the same colour in the same place at the same time. one of the guys in my office w...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Interesting to see Avon do the ZZS in a 245/40/15 - there was a lot of excitement in US MX-5 circles a while back when Maxxis started doing a tyre called the VR-1 in this size, and 949 Racing produced a 15x10 wheel to suit it. Maxxis don't sell the tyre outside of the US as far as I can tell, so the...

Re: Your fleet running reports

The Transit just had it's first MoT under my ownership, I was concerned because there seemed to be a little play in the steering on rough ground, but I guess it must be a case of TADTS as it passed

Not read anything for a while, but the last thing of note was Command and Control by Eric Schlosser, about nuclear weapon safety. Having read it I'm amazed we're still here.

Honda CR125 The MX bike has been going great since the headgasket was changed, and has had a couple of good kickings at the Milk Run track which is just the other side of the Dartford Tunnel in Purfleet, and easy to get to. In celebration I've bought a new set of plastics to replace the rather tire...

Ford Transit T350 I had some holiday to use up recently, so decided to spend some of it tackling a few problems with the Transit van. It seems like during its previous life with a power company it spent a lot of time in the mud, most of which was still in there under the carpet. https://i.imgur.com...
