Re: Replacement suggestions

Jag XF estate? There's some diesel S models for around 12 grand if you're after something with decent power. Jags get a pasting on here for reliability? or I would be seriously tempted as they are lovely. As long as they have the 6 cylinder I was going to buy one of these as our next car until I go...

Re: Decent car YouTubes

Probably the right place to post this - speculating, is Hoovie getting divorced? And that reminds me, has Jonny Smith split from Chops? Little things in their recent output have made me wonder. I wondered about Johnny Smith as well. I listened to the second live from Lotus podcast this morning and ...

Re: A celebration of well filled arches

Nothing has ever been as well filled as 1990’s touring cars https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EULf5yoWkAA42vG.jpg:large Mondeo was my go-to choice on TOCA but never noticed how much of the metalwork above the arch was removed. Looks like it could be mid-engined with pushrod suspension there's so little s...

Re: M3 Touring

I like them :| I like them on certain colours. Which seems like a strange thing to say as they're such a small design feature. So the jury is still out. My wife hates them, but she's already says she doesn't want to change car, so what does she know. Within the first week I'll have come back to the...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Kona has had two new years on the rear, one had sidewall damage (promise it wasn't me ) and the other had a nail on the shoulder. Fronts were also meant to be changed due to wear - one was 2.5mm and 3mm for the other - in only 11,200 miles. Nearly 300ft/lbs of torque from 0rpm has had a bit of...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Off to test drive a couple of cars next week as having looked into it, a PHEV makes sense as a company car with how cheap they are on tax now. Going to try a Cupra Fornicator V2 245 PHEV. Looks wise the Formentor is edging it, but the drive is more important so we shall see! My mate has the exact s...

Re: Mik's top travel tips - shaving oil

I've ordered a Panasonic ER-GB42 from Amazon for £29.99 - wet and dry, adjustable cutting length without needing to swap guards. I doubt I'll use it in the shower despite being fully waterproof because I don't want all the clippings to block the plughole  How else are you going to shave your b...

Kona EV back from it's first service this morning at just over 11k miles. One of the tyres is down to 2.5m  other front is 3m so have requested for them to be replaced under the lease agreement. Will look to try and get all-seaons as it's a bit fiesty in the wet. If not, as they're quite a bi...

With all of the single lane routes, passing places and bumps, I'd imagine it could be quite frustrating in a fast car anyway.

There was some parts I definitely didn't want to be going any faster on in a VW T6 LWB.

Re: Nuraphone

After not getting on with the RHA in ear phones I bought, I'd been looking for new ones. I got a discount code from Nura, so ordered their Nurabuds. Build quality is definitely a step down from the Nuraphones, very plasticky construction and the charging case feels very cheap and flimsy. That's rea...

I read on a gossip site a theory that his facial injuries had caused him to look different; as someone who has had mental health difficulties in the past, coming to terms with that while in the public eye could be really daunting. Seems quite plausible and fits with the description of his injuries ...

I quite like aggressive regen whilst peddling on now, quite fun to pull in the nose of the car without using the brakes. I would however like the ability to configure this to my own liking though. I have our Kona on full regen and it makes it a lot more fun to tuck the nose in. It doesn't have a lo...
