Re: Supercar Market Update Sept 2021

The thought of using a Ford GT as a paperweight is amusing. I didn't know that Ford insisted on a 2 year ownership. What do they do if you sell before that time elapses? Stop you buying a Fiesta or F150?

Dropping a care package at Stoke, by the look of it.

I was at the park when I saw it flying overhead.

I don't think they're handling it as well as you put it there.

Re: Good Passenger?

It depends. If someone is an active participant in the process of driving, is decisive and in control of the vehicle, I'm happy to be a passenger.

I still refuse to get in a car driven by one friend. ExWife2 is a shitty driver (not an opinion she shares) and I never liked being driven by her.

Re: Wheels for sale

That's a wheely big number of wheels you're selling. It's clearly taken ages to get round to selling them. Tread carefully selling them on the internet. You get some nuts on there who might collect them and then bolt without paying. I'm sure a stud like you will be fine, though.

I had a play on one on a work jolly around Lyon. They're fun but I've not felt the urge to ride one since.

One of our Romanian colleagues managed to fall off, break her face and arm. Her response was to get shitfaced then get driven back to Romania in the morning before getting medical attention.

After the crash Max said "That's why you leave space!" What a massive, festering pile of bullshit considering he did the same to Lewis on lap one at the second chicane. He can dish it out but can't take it.

Re: Coronavirus

A friend is currently in hospital with covid. She's in a stupid amount of pain, can't keep food or drink down but is breathing ok. Her case is complicated by having chronic renal disease.

Oh, and she's anti vax.

I'm rather worried about her.

The tyre deformation when they floor the accelerator is just mindbogglingly crazy. Yes I know they're fat soft tyres but still. Reminded me of a video I saw where they did a slo-mo of the tyre from the side. On launch the inner part turned something like a quarter turn before the outer caught up an...

I open my window and shout at the teenagers to actually use some deodorant in future when there's a bad smell in the car.

3am "too hot" is pretty much every day for me. I get out of bed, read for an hour to cool down then can go back to sleep. But sod's law it's always nice weather for the first week back at school. There were about six warm days of "summer" this year? You are also going through th...

Don't worry. You're just going through the menopause. See your doctor and get on HRT.
