Re: Your fleet running reports
Tow bars are nice easy to fit. On something newer its pretty common once you've fitted it, if using plug and play wiring looms that the car will need coding, so don't panic if you plug it in and nothing works! Even my old S60 needed me to change config file in VIDA so it went into trailer DSTC, and ...

Kuga was delivered today, was amazing how dirty a brand new car was, took a good 4 Hours of cleaning before I could ceramic coat it. Done a grand total of 2 miles on petrol, rest on electric, unless you floor it it does it's best to use the electric, it's very smooth. Handles pretty well for a tall ...

Bumping this for @nuttinnew but also because I have a discourtesy car today; my Allroad is being serviced. It's a brand new Audi Q2 30TSI manual S-line. I may be one of the first people to drive it because switching between menus on the MMI gave me messages about how to zoom the nav map which look ...

Re: Trackers (seemingly very much ND)
They shouldn't balls it up, unless they are fully inept. Tracker have a specified or recommended fitment guide for most vehicles, along with specific areas to fit them in, which means everyone knows where they are  You have to (or did?) go on a course with Tracker to become an installer for the...

Been looking at buying a bumped id3/4 or equivalent Skoda to play with. Seemingly loads out there advertised as requiring a new traction battery, but all they need is the pyro fuses replacing in the battery pack, all bits are available from VW, just needs the pack dropping for access. Been looking a...

Re: Car Insurance Renewal Roulette
What sort of tracker are they asking for?
They can be quite expensive if you have to get it fitted by an approved installer, but they're simple to fit if theyre ok with you doing it yourself.
I'd imagine if it's a stipulation of the insurance that a lot of them will already be fitted with them?

Re: EOTR on Golf and TTS (robbing b4stards)
I bought a tuning box kit minus the actual tuning box off eBay, it came as the wiring loom to piggyback the fuel rail plug with a dummy box if you wanted the car go back to standard. You plug the loom into the fuel rail wiring (plug and play) and when I'm away I take the little dummy box out, which ...

My dad has the same age Kadjar 1.3t but Manuel, nice car to drive, same as a Qashqai underneath.
Quite a decent looking thing in Dynamique S spec in deep metallic red as well.
Quite a bit bigger than a Juke or Yeti, especially boot wise.

Re: Your fleet running reports
Found out this morning if the Jag is in dynamic mode, if you turn off the Trac DSC setting to full DSC off, it then brakes the wheel spinning wheel and mimics an e Diff.
Had no idea it would do that, in normal mode it just spins away the power with DSC off.
Two and a half rears I've had this car

Re: Asda grocery deliveries
Asda are shite for delivery.
Only one I'll use now is Ocado, which also is no more expensive than what we paid at Asda or Sainsbury's.
In fact I'd say it's cheaper than Asda, and on a par with Sainsbury's, but much better quality.
They never seem to substitute anything either.

Re: Your fleet running reports
I'd go stage one. The helix one, is it still one piece or a paddle clutch? They can make cars horrible to drive, the black diamond one will not change the feel much I imagine, possibly it will have a slightly stronger pressure plate making the clutch a bit heavier, but the paddle ones can be ridicul...

Re: Your fleet running reports
As an aside, I took my friends mum car shopping this weekend. She had one of the last 108s, which is the ideal size for her, and she's didn't want anything much, if any bigger. The only thing I could find she liked was a Hyundai i10. Test drove one, settled on spec (1.2 Premium Automatic), colour (T...
