Re: Your fleet running reports
RR doesn't seem to have any way of checking - every time I go onto that screen it just says "oil level not available" so I guess I default to the warning light :? Our D4 had a similar "electronic dipstick", but from memory - if you get the above you need to switch the engine off...

I too have played Starfield much more than Forza
This wasn't the case when 7 came out, it was a big step up in driving, this is a bit frustrating to say the least.

Re: Any recommendations for winter tyres?
Not winters but I've had Crossclimates, Crossclimate 2s, and Goodyear Vector 4 Seasons on the V60. Didn't get stuck in the snow once, and I live up a single track unpaved road in a village which is up a very big hill. The Crossclimates were softer, and better on Ice than the Goodyear's, but worse in...

Re: Forza Motorsport
I've been enjoying it so far (Series X with G923? Wheel).
Force feedback needs work, can't feel grip/slip, no real feel of weight, just resistance.
Sounds are decent, graphics are good, the waiting to upgrade cars until a certain level is stupid.

I presume they checked this, but a blown fuse can fire that fault code.
30a fuse for J743 DCT control unit.
If you replace it and it goes again if confirms the control unit has failed, just a sense check before spending loads!

Re: Your fleet running reports
I think if it doesn't fully straddle a speed bump, and it's noticeable when you go over them, enough of the tyre is in contact to spread the load, and probably just wear out the lower arm bushes by pushing the arms apart instead  If they only just touch the bump, then this happens, I reckon the...

Re: Your fleet running reports
100% that's island speed bumps sadly.
Best going over them as a pair than going over the actual island if you can, I used to see so many examples of that

Re: Remote Controlled Cars
I've just bought a Traxxas TRX4M Defender for the boy, and it's epic 8-) We've just spent all evening building all sorts of obstacles for it and it just goes, has sport, crawl and another mode and it's great fun. Seems durable as has been down the stairs outside and inside several times without faul...

Yeah I'd imagine even movie star money won't get them to the premier league, it's nice for people to see the stuff going on behind the scenes that most would never be aware of. Hopefully a couple more seasons at least, Wrexham have had a great start to the season in league two. My friends family ha...

First episode of the new season of the Wrexham football thing has come out on Disney, first season was surprisingly great, this one has started off well so looking forward to it again, shame it's only one new episode a week.

Managed to pick up a tiny stone chip on the way down to the New Forest in the Kuga on Monday, which has now developed into a massive crack  Not even done 1800 miles yet FFS. Has to go in to Autoglass next Thursday for it replacing, they can't do it anywhere as it has to have all the ADAS stuff...

Re: Undergoing recalibration.
I had a very similar experience going from my old inherited Onkyo 5.1 amp and basic tiny speakers, to a new Yamaha amp and Celestion glass floor standers and matching surround set I found on market place ridiculously cheap. Although obviously nowhere near the quality of Miks, it's amazing how much c...

Yeah it's weird getting out of the Kuga into the XF, it feels like you're sat on the floor.
The engine in this Velars can be made to make some silly power if you get bored of it!
They're a lot more car like to drive than the RR or RRS, like a jacked up XFR.

Re: Existing Solar Panels on a house?
They don't allow buy outs of the panels, which seems an odd business model. You can pay something daft like 15k for an early termination, but that seems daft if your getting cheaper electric. The big issue seems to be mortgages, and pigeons nesting. I'd be tempted to just go for it, but they are ver...
