Re: Pre-diabeties
What is likely to happen is that the government will use the stick technique to deal with the stupidity of the majority of the population at the expense of the non-morons. I like a particular kind of root beer, I have a bottle of it maybe once every 6 months. My kids got me some for my birthday this...

Re: Pre-diabeties
Well you obviously need some, I probably should have said something to mark it as sarcasm at the end. What I meant is that they will have greater knowledge and educated in how the body deals with food types, how they are broken down, used and stored or ejected as waste. Conditioning from a young ag...

Re: Pre-diabeties
I think the upcoming generation will have more of a chance than the current as we are re-learning what to eat (not just avoiding sugar but having to cut carbs too) where they will have been taught from a younger age that carbs and sugar are bad. :? Erm, if 'carbs and sugar are bad', what do you sug...

Sorry for all that are having a hard time at the moment. I'm not, in fact I've never felt better :) (fucking jinxed myself there for sure) I found this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Intelligence-Flesh-Your-Needs-Thinks/dp/0300223471/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1553271685&sr=8-1&keywords=intellige...

It's all a bit fucking strange. How do you not expect a photo of a couple with a chimpanzee to not have racist connotations?

I was going to say you need to clean your keyboard Barry, but looking again it probably needs killing with fire and a new one plugging in.

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Let's be clear, I couldn't give a fuck either way. It was a throw-away comment. We had some pulls on the motorway, I expected it to romp off and he clearly did yet it didn't. It was faster and he pulled on me, but not by much. I'm not trying to claim it's a fast car, it's 2 tonnes and only has...

the performance figures would suggest he was probably using half throttle! 0-60 6.1 vs 4.1 Numerous ~70 - ~120 roll-ons showed it was faster, but really not by much. As we all know though, to really pull a gap needs a huge performance differential. Ah ok, by not really relevant timings, it’s still ...

F-Pace SVR in triple black; sits nicely with big, properly spaced wheels. Faster than an e53 X5 4.8is, but seemingly not by as much as the owner expected / would have liked. the performance figures would suggest he was probably using half throttle! 0-60 6.1 vs 4.1 Numerous ~70 - ~120 roll-ons showe...

Loved the one we had, a fairly early 1.7 in silver, Steve McQueen TV advert spec.
I got very tempted to buy a Racing Puma that I was offered recently. If I wasn't re-building a house I'm sure I'd have bought it.

Re: Your fleet running reports
MrsREV’s 420d vert has lost all sound. No radio/CD/Aux/Phone/Sat Nav/Warning bongs. There’s no fault codes in the system, all the fuses are fine, so it appears that the amp is dead. Not great for a 2 year old car. My 2 shall be visiting bmw very soon. Rear light cluster intermittent fault with the ...

Re: Fake exhaust pipes
The valve opens and closes randomly when crawling through traffic from what I’ve seen, of course it opens fully under harder acceleration to also give more noise but it is definitely being used for emissions purposes too as every dual exhaust BMW seems to have it now regardless of being a sporty mo...

Re: Fake exhaust pipes
It's standard unfortunately and part of the things they had to change to meet WLTP emissions bullshit. The 340i was given a particulate filter and a daft valve in the nearside exhaust tailpipe that opens and closes seemingly at random. They're both proper exhausts and under load they both open up pr...
