Re: Jaguar XJR-15

Enjoyed it but I'd like to know more about what it was like as a driving experience. I remember reading about them when they were new and it was quite a performance to even start them. Toggle switches for fuels pumps, ignition starter etc. I also remember reading, as you said, that they were pigs t...

Jaguar XJR-15

Just finished an article on the Jaguar XJR-15. Its one car fairly well soaked in Le Mans DNA.

Re: Ferrari 430 Scuderia vs. 16M

The most surprising fact - Ferrari still on 16 constructors championships. That’s one way to keep the badge in date! Yep, they jinxed it. Haven't been fortunate to drive any of the special edition Ferraris yet, but I agree with you both on preferring Spiders ordinarily, but not for the specia...

Re: McLaren 650S Spider vs. 720S Article: Bad Driver POV

Hence the winky emoji - I'd certainly hope you'd keep your McLaren keys in a safe! Let's just say I'm not as naive as my father either - though given my son is 2 he has some time yet before I need to take precautionary measures  Oh, not sure on that. Never to early to start. One of my other so...

Re: McLaren 650S Spider vs. 720S Article: Bad Driver POV

Your kids are all too well behaved  I vividly remember nabbing the keys to my dad's 911 and taking it for a good thrash when he was away for the weekend. I did at least put a shirt on in case I got stopped. I think I imagined it may help convince the rozzers that it was mine or something :D SS...

Thanks, he is pretty grounded.

On the adoption, just trying to get all the current ones off the payroll still.....

Re: McLaren 650S Spider vs. 720S Article: Bad Driver POV

Well, that is a very good, mature 20 year old (although, with your stable SSO, I’m not sure I’d wait until I was 19 to take my test! 😉 ) . Your colour spec on the 720S is spot on, and I’ve seen a lot living spitting distance from a McLaren dealership. Ofcourse, what I’d want is a 720S Spider*... ha...

Re: SecretSupercarOwner (not dead)

If I'm testing around Abu Dhabi or some equally hot trackday venue I've shipped my £1m track car to, I'm going to be pi55ed if I haven't spec'd the push to drink option. Especially considering it's probably chump change from 'my' perspective  Put another way, in isolation, the Push To Drink op...

Love the look of the Scuds - much more of an aggressive edge over a standard 430 IMO (sorry Ian :? )
Correct on the arms and legs.

Yes but it does come with the McLaren logo on it.
