Re: Your fleet running reports

For those of you that haven't seen on insta, phase 1 of project S1 has been completed in outstanding fashion by Mr @dan Webster. A few minor performance mods to pep the old girl up a bit ;) https://i.imgur.com/eRUGVez.jpeg Well jel. A Hondalise has always been on my list 😎 Doesn't get much better t...

Re: Glastonbury 2023

Am I being dim, or does anyone know of a good place to download just the audio from Fatboy Slim’s 2023 Glastonbury set? Here you go @Gavster Pop it into a new tab using the icon in the top right corner and then you can download/save as https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bm4Yh8ER1wJxdL1Ma1K7eI3iQylbnV...

Re: The ongoing X5 saga

Really hope you get it sorted. The dealership experience has put me off BMW. Not sure if the cars are anymore complex than the VAG range but I've not had the same issues across 4-5 cars.

Re: Mortgages

Ours is out till June next year but I can't see it settling by then. Outside of fixed, the rates are absolutely dogs, the SMR (replaced BMR) is in the 7+% range and I don't think there are any tracker deals worth looking at as the banks are playing the system.

Re: £100

We checked the other week as dog food has gone up again. In 2019 we needed £2300 put into the joint account to cover everything for an average month. It’s now just tipped over £3000. £450 a month now to feed the dogs alone. That’s more than our mortgage. We have no sky, only Amazon. Cheap internet,...

Re: GR86 - Invite

It's tempting and indeed 5% loan vs 2% last year. Would be a cheap years motoring unless the market craps itself.

Need to make a decision before 14th and 1k deposit.

GR86 - Invite

I received an email a few weeks back about an additional 'limited' batch and can now purchase one for the princely some of 33k w/paint of choice.

Cheap in comparison to other stuff on market at mo.

Hire car - Suzuki Vitari 'Allgrip' MHEV

Met with disappointment as it was placed on the drive but I have to say I have been left massively surprised and much better than the Tucson before it. The good: -Lovely pointy steer and great to chuck into the corners. Had a blast on the country lanes. - Punchy & fizzy engine, helped with mild ...

Re: The ongoing X5 saga

The customer / warranty repair service at BMW puts me off ever owning another. Sounds very similar to my 330i experience but I did manage to get 95%+ of my money back.

Skoda on the other hand have been faultless. Ford I never needed to use and I drove it well.

Sad times, XC60/90 or an f-pace with v6? I liked the f-pace I drove. No idea what the steer is like on the Volvos but they look good imo.

Re: Your fleet running reports

2 new boots on superb, nothing too fancy, a set of Nexen's which are apparently a good mid range boot - Kumho were my previous go-to. Swapped backs to front mit balance and car is transformed. Old ones had a few (1) mm left but nearside was showing signs of cracking and made a pleasant wop wop wop a...
