Hmm, MX-5, GR-86 or A110? Neither of the latter will depreciate (if you can get a GR). Only the Alpine is quicker than the MX-5. But neither of the latter give you the open top. I think it comes down to whether you want the roof down part of it. That white 100th Anniversary edition does look good. ...

Genuinely liked the 86 I drove circa 5 years ago, went for the Focus ST instead, mainly for practicality reasons.

To be fair, there's a ton of work been done (new sills, loads of welding, new windscreen and lots of expensive window and door trims - 246 hours of labour in total) but it's still a fuck load of money. Picked up the Superb on Thursday, drove it home. Android play does not appear to work too well with Samsung phones but bluetooth is grand so not worrying about it right now. Took my wife away for a night on Lindisfarne to just unwind after the last fortnight or so and got rear-ended on the way home...
