I hope it doesn't last as long as the Boris one
Re: Trump
Was just looking at the news tab on Reddit and apparently the FBI were searching for classified nuclear weapon documents, so separate to the Jan 6 insurrection that I thought this was going to be about. If that's the case, madness! There was people speculating about selling details to the Saudi's an...

Charles Dickens for me. I don't really know any of the other names when you zoom right in.
Re: Slippers
I've got some sheepskin slippers and they are great, really soft. Don't find my feet sweat in them when it's hot, but keep them warmer when it's cold. I can't get on board with crocs, they look horrendous.

Re: Electric bikes
I've not seen a huge amount of the bikes being used, other than the standard limited ones you get from like Halfords. Scooters seem to be way more rampant. I was overtaken by one in a 30 earlier this week, and left for dead. At least the rider had a full motorbike type helmet on, but he was flying. ...
Re: Hayfever
I've found it pretty bad this year as well. I don't think the one a day is enough, they seem to work for about half a day at best. I've tried taking both variants of tablets this year and still getting fucked over by hayfever. It's really annoying.

Re: It’s time for another forum cycle/vehicle disagreement
I don't cycle a huge amount, but from my experience as well, I tend to get more space from cars in the city doing 30 or under then outside of it. Especially if I cycle up Ports Down hill, some cars barely give any space, and they're often doing 40 plus. I saw that BBC article yesterday, the guy was ...

Re: Huayra Longtail
The side view looks OK, but I can't say I like it that much. Don't really like the rear view at all and the front looks a bit like a whale shark. Much prefer the Huayra standard model or the BC.

Re: Best driving games(Xbox one/PC)
I thought it was going to be Series X / S only now for Motorsport title. Horizon 5 was meant to be the last multi gen title. Mainly as it needs the extra hardware to perform etc. I guess you have to cut over to current gen only at some point.

Saw this on the Reddit Ukraine live thread. Lada with no safety equipment anyone?

Re: Top Tips
I use conditioner and have all my hair. I'm getting more and more grey on the sides though, to add that into the mix.
I'll keep the moisturiser in mind if I find myself in that predicament. Just shampooing is rough, properly dries my hair out.

Re: Porsche 911 Sport Classic
I really like that and it's a 911 with a ducktail spoiler, which is all good in my eyes. Reading the Autocar article, it's basically a manual, RWD Turbo
Re: A pint
I've never really used the imperial measurements outside of the few areas they're still widely used (MPH / pints / height etc). Metric was what I was taught at school, so although I can workout roughly what some things are, things like Fahrenheit makes no sense to me. I really don't see the point in...

I had my own Goodfellas style restaurant walk in New York a number of years ago. Always made me think about the film. Him voicing Tommy Vercetti in GTA Vice City was part of my youth as well.

My personal phone is a sim only deal with O2 and never had any real issues with them. They've started rolling out 5G near me, and that seems to work pretty well. Not done a speed test, but will try and remember to when I'm out and my phone has 5G signal. I've got 100GB, unlimited calls/texts and Dis...

Re: Dogecoin etc
I'm glad I only gambled a small amount on crypto. £50 into Bitcoin and £62 into Ethereum (went to buy another coin but ended up moving that £12 to ETH). A few weeks ago I'd almost made it back up to my original investment, but that looks a long way off now. My Bitcoin has gone down in value to £31.9...

Re: Why hasn't 'Mercuh gone metric?
I don't think I'd have any problems switching over. It would probably take a little bit to get used to for stuff like speed limits etc, but doable. I tend to use metric for my limited use cases, KGs for weight etc. Distance / measurements make more sense in metric to me as well. The one I really str...

Re: Good car/Bad car
Best is my current car, F20 125i. Although I wouldn't mind a change at some point, had it for almost 6 years now (longest I've ever had a car). Worst is a toss up between my first 2 cars, 98 Clio or 01 Corsa. Both were pretty rubbish. The Clio was pretty abused as it was my first car! I don't know w...
