Re: Ford Bronco
Yep, I thought that was the whole point of using the Ranger platform. Shame really as it’s a lot cooler (and probably more reliable) than a Jeep.

Re: TV with Freesat
Good luck trying to find a decent freesat box, I want to replace our Humax which generates amnesia on an almost annual basis but it looks like they’ve pulled out of doing freesat boxes There are Manhattan(?) branded boxes about but I don’t think they record, only receive.

Re: Bye Bye Boris!
I find myself wondering if the government have gone for full gamble and they’re thinking that lumping covid and Brexit into one big single disaster for the economy will mean a better economic recovery, i.e. do it all once and recover once rather than recover from covid and sink the ship again for Br...

Re: Car insurance
Fortunately Admiral aren't cheapest for me these days - I used LV this year. Having said that, I bought it through Topcashback and they declined the cashback, so I'm having to dispute that. £70 or so cashback was material to me choosing to use them. It was the other way round for me this year, LV t...

Re: Car insurance
I can't stand Admiral. Probably fine though if you never need to change anything at all during your policy. Although it wouldn't surprise me if they tried to charge for cancelling auto-renewal. They tried to do this to me after i’d spoken to them on the phone at renewal and asked if they could get ...

Re: No F1 thread?
Renault have lodged a formal complaint about the racing point, Mercedes have to hand over their 2019 brake ducts to the FIA for analysis.

Re: No F1 thread?
What a quali. Max will be a liability on the front row tomorrow, I'm thinking he'll be more Crashstappen than Verstappen, could deny us a good race.

Re: No F1 thread?
yeah, can’t remember the specifics though Gasly looked like he’d been let down faster than a pin to a balloon when he found out he had lost his RB seat, he wasn’t expecting that at all. If he thought he was at risk I’d have expected a different reaction. exactly. That’s why Horner was saying the se...

Re: No F1 thread?
Gasly wasn’t exactly responding well to pressure though, if he’d openly said that his seat was at risk he’d probably have cracked in two! Did you watch drive to survive? yeah, can’t remember the specifics though Gasly looked like he’d been let down faster than a pin to a balloon when he found out h...

Re: No F1 thread?
Exactly. F1 is usually in opposite world. If something is rejected or definitely not true then it’s almost certain to happen 😂 Not even a year ago Horner was boasting that the RB seat was safe for the rest of the year, then before we knew it Albon was swapped into it  Gasly wasn’t exactly resp...
