Re: EV Thread

Two I3's I looked at both showed full charges but one showed 130 miles and the other 151, both similar mileage cars and both 69 plate cars. I'd guess there's a lot to take onto account though, so I'm not sure without plugging it in and checking actual cell values how you would ascertain the health ...

Re: EV Thread

There is an 8 year 100k miles warranty on lots of EV's, i couldn't find a single example of a hv battery failure in the uk on an i3 before buying mine.

Re: EV Thread

As Barry says it's not an issue with AC charging just fill it up.

With the i3 the handbook even says you can charge to 100% on DC. The BMS tapers the load above 90% for you.

Re: Lexus image in the UK

If you can afford £12k over 2 years why put a max figure on it. Admittedly I'm 47 now and it's probably only the last 5 years I've not dwelled on the cost of things rather than live on the basis of can I afford to indulge in something I want regardless of cost and perceived value. Your only getting ...

Re: 6 Nations

Both games great spectacles 8-) Scotland must be gutted. It's a shame the ref called it no try and asked for clear evidence it was grounded on line. If he asked is there any reason not to award the try it would stand. Big game decided by semantics! Welsh youngsters did well against a pretty grizzly ...

Simply the last time I visited them was Jan 2020 in my M2.

Even my wife's new petrol Sportage wouldn't be much better.

Re: EV Thread

First time out meeting clients in person in England since before lockdown. Decided to prove the infrastructure is there and took the i3 ;) Range is probably 150 miles in this weather and it was a 210 mile round trip. Charged overnight at home, 40kw was £6.25, drove 90 miles in about 2 hours first th...

Re: EV Thread

I'm waiting for the end of year fleet emissions fines to bring a swathe of cheap EV lease deals tbh, current one goes back mid month and currently nothing appealing in the price range I'm willing to cough up. I'd take another Niro but not paying £100/m over current prices  Ora Funky Cat is be...

Is that the EV version? Eek if so!
Yes. I've read of a few cases on EV forums and quite concerning as regards the longevity of the vehicle.

Yes and Birds are probably better known for a reasonably priced Bilstein set up. Someone on here has a Birds car. https://www.evo.co.uk/bmw/m140i/202709/birds-bmw-m140i-review-british-tuner-tweaks-bmws-rear-drive-hot-hatch My M140i didn't have a the bolt on x brace underneath which Beanys may have a...
