Re: Bye bye Theresa
Just throwing an alternative view but perhaps some people didn’t vote to leave “to achieve” something but rather to prevent possible / likely somethings. Valid point. Can someone who voted leave please explain what they were trying to prevent/avoid? Genuinely curious. Being in the EU. Reasons - man...

Re: Bye bye Theresa
I'd even take the emotions of what made them chose to vote that way and what they thought would happen.
I'm really not trying to cause an argument, I'm just curious what their thoughts are.

Re: Bye bye Theresa
What do Brexiteers hope to accomplish by leaving? This is a genuine question, I'm not trying to bait anyone. I'm an ardent remainer, and whilst the current system isn't prefect, I can't see any benefit to leaving. So I'm curious as to what people think we'll gain by leaving, and how long it will ta...

Re: Bye bye Theresa
I may have spent too long eating the lead paint on my cot as a child, so this may be blindingly obvious to everyone else. Can someone please explain to me why the parties can't work together for the general good of the people who elected them? Do they not realise that the populous is getting fed up ...

Really? The wheels look about right, but all the other proportions look all to fuck. Even with a dodgy lens, I wouldn't have expected an M car to look that bad.

Can the parking space police please decide if my mother should be: shot, burnt at the stake or hung, drawn and quartered, for using a parent and child space when she took her frail 90 year old mother to the shops?

Re: Seat covers that aren't vile or shite
I have some from overthetop. Pricey, but have lasted years of everything the dog and I can throw at them. Waterproof, machine washable and extremely hard wearing.
Or, if you're feeling pikey, a towel or two and some bungy straps.

Re: Saturday night tv
I am struggling to remember Saturday Night TV being good at any point in my life although to be fair for about ten years I was out for all of them so may have missed a few gems. Perry much this. Isn't Saturday night TV aimed at people who've reached the pinnacle of their ambition with 2.4 children ...

I paid less for my M5 as a reckless 20-something year-old than my renewal quote as a dull 30-something year-old driving an Accord. <£500 verses >£600

Re: 2018 - A Year In Review & Plans for 2019
I realise that I don't post here very often, but posting this might be a mild catharsis for me. Mito, I hope your recovery is a speedy one. 2018 was rather a mixed year for me. The first half started off great. The weather was fantastic after the initial cold snap in March, a long hot summer made wo...

Re: Cheese time
All cheese is amazing. I'm especially liking a local soft blue, which goes very well with some marrow chutney I made earlier this year. I also have a ewes milk cheese with has been rolled in ash wich cuts through the sweetness of the ewes milk perfectly. I feel that I may have to visit the cheese sh...

21st - 2nd for me, company shut down so no holiday days required at least. Mine is a company shut down too, but it's just compulsory holiday rather than not using any. :( Wot Duncs said. I have just arrived back in the UK after 2 weeks in Australia, so I guess I shouldn't be complaining too much.

ginger babies! Dave! O/H is Brazilian so I believe it's genetically impossible? There’s still a risk of it in central and South America due to Cornish tin miners going over there for work and sullying the gene pool. I know a guy from Brazil with bright red hair. I think you'll find that wherever th...
