Re: Decent Recent TV
It’s already been mentioned on this thread but we’ve just finished the second series of Slow Horses. Best thing I’ve seen in ages!

There was a spate of people pushing them into the canals in Amsterdam a few years back.

Yep, Merry Christmas to you all.
I reckon I visit four websites a day. The others are Wordle, Quordle and Cardle, so you all must mean at least something to me, YFCs. Hope you all have a lovely Christmas.

There was a strange red tinge over Sheffield as I was driving up the M1 yesterday afternoon. Quite eerie, like I had tinted glasses on.

Possibly controversial but Aldi’s Ballycastle mince pies are really fucking good. They have a fake Baileys type filling in them.

Re: GTA 6
I've not owned a console for 10+ years and I'm excited about this  games like GTA6 are major cultural entertainment events, bigger than any Hollywood blockbuster or chart-topping album. I have a pretty standard Xbox One and have used it exclusively for GTA V 😂 I’ll no doubt buy the latest cons...

Seen the map was also leaked https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FvTS_FPWwBACRqY?format=jpg&name=4096x4096 No wonder it's taking them so many years, each of the smaller cities is the size of Los Santos. I love that it also retains the original Vice City map which is now minuscule. Is that too b...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Depends on the type of car, for me. I was the 5th (maybe 6th) owner of my seven year old Elise. People like to own a certain type of car for a short while then move on to a Boxster etc the repeat with an S2000.
I’d probably swerve a 10 year old 3 Series with 6 owners.

Re: Megan & Hazza
There's also the question of the huge power imbalance between Meghan and Harry's family, like if she did feel uncomfortable, did she feel she could speak up or leave the conversation. Speaking up in person is one thing and maybe difficult to do, but judging on how vocal she has been over the last f...

Re: Megan & Hazza
I'm prepared to be cancelled but I don't think talking about how a mixed race child will look is in itself, racist. I does depend on the words used, tone etc but I've had more than one similar conversation with mixed race families while they're expecting. This. Lots of assumptions being made and co...

No direct experience of this but there was an interesting Panorama episode on private clinics and their diagnosis of ADHD - basically everyone who walks through the door gets a diagnosis and a prescription, which isn’t cheap and is for life so there’s a clear incentive for the private industry to ov...

I really quite enjoyed working on Gavster's Smart last week, so I'm eyeing this up for a bit of fun: https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/G9wAAOSwZedlW5Ck/s-l1600.jpg https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/266521132626 Is the catch. It could easily be a totally borked engine. But for £400 it's super-tempting. Back i...
