Re: The Cats are good too thread

Liz Lemon surveys her surroundings.

"So, you're saying this is all mine?"
"No, none of that is yours"
"Ah, so it's all mine then"

Hemlock Grove complete series review Overall I'd say 5 mythical creatures attempted to be grounded in reality out of 10 I reckon. For fans of the gothic horror genre only. Hmmm shame, been looking for something to replace Grimm with for a while. Oh and how fucking awesome was yesterday's The Expans...

Re: Decent Recent TV

Hemlock Grove complete series review Pretty much as per the previous - slow, deliberate - but not really justifying that pace. Also the third series goes on a bit of a tangent given how the second series ends, and frankly, is underwhelming. Overall I'd say 5 mythical creatures attempted to be groun...

Re: The Cats are good too thread

Ah, excellent! I'll update this thread later with pics of the missus' late cat Jimmy (who has almost certainly gone for The Long Walk :( ) and some snaps of his successor, Liz Lemon, a cheeky (but still shy) wee thing from the shelter. Liz Lemon is still pretty edgy so I might not be seeing her this...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Mondeo update: Was a bit disappointed with the 32mpg I was getting on my runs down south, so decided to try not cruising at 88-95, blasting up to 100+ to pass pricks in Audis and only braking for speedtraps (only four or five on the whole 200 mile route), and instead just setting the cruise to 75 an...

Re: Forum Roll Call BUT pictures rather than words

I get not having a good picture, but they’re al actively abysmal. Like you’ve made a real effort to make it look as bad as possible. It's more that every time I think to take a pic of it, it's dark out and I only have my smartphone on me - a bad combination. It's not the sort of car that makes you ...

Re: Forum Roll Call BUT pictures rather than words

I like how you’ve continued the tradition of only taking terrible photos of your Mundano. Honestly, it's just not a car that I think about photographing. The Puma was worth taking out to the sticks for something like this: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10203905645618549&l=cfdb2204e6 B...

Oh, what the hell. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ic1YLkpl1Do https://i.imgur.com/cfV2nwd.jpg Yeah, realistically it's nothing fancy, but it does what it needs to do really, really well and doesn't try to bankrupt me while it's doing it, unlike a certain yellow car I could mention which is composed...

Re: Forum Roll Call BUT pictures rather than words

1994 rover metro GTi 16v 1.8 I covet this car so much. I'm hoping V2 will be a considerable upgrade, if I ever get round to it, and would help clear some space too 😂 I'm pretty sure V2 has been in planning since we went to Snetterton in it. That was....long ago  the Metro is silly fun though, ...

And of course it only seems ordered and pleasing to us because we evolved in it. . </thread> This. Douglas Adams had some interesting comments on this, with respect to puddles. Who might think their holes in the ground are made for then by a higher being because they fit in them perfectly...etc Edi...

Lost in space Lasted 6 mins, the altimeter showing meters but the computer saying feet for the ameritards... Agreed but if he can't find them, anything will do in the interim. True enough. The issue I had last time I was looking (For the Citroen, which has huge, modern flat blades) is that they didn't do them big enough. Seem the si-tech are the updated range to suit flat modern blade designs, though, so ...

Oh, she was planning on getting another cat anyway (she's always had at least one cat in her life) ; I'm just giving a helping hand so she doesn't have to worry about the fees and can instead spend it on KITTY TOYS. That's literally it - I'm not buying her a cat to appease her, it's just a way that ...

I'll still say PIAA super silicon are the best wipers I've had. Last for years, give the screen a hydrophobic coating, nary a squeak nor squeal, even in the depths of winter. Need to find them in larger sizes for the Mondeo. Believe they do them, just not looked hard enough as yet. Not entirely happ...

It's easy to turn off OK Google detection. However, does that stop it targeting ads based on background voice recognition?
