Have I been pronouncing this wrong for my whole life or are they hamming it up for the adverts? There's a Skoda ad running on the radio that really deliberately says "schkoda" about 7 times. Skoda or schkoda? I will prounce it Schkoda at the same time as I change the pronunciation of anot...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Stepfather admits he made a mistake buying a Volvo V60 as it was too boring and under powered. He's decided to buy a Saab 93 Viggen. This one. https://assets.carandclassic.co.uk/uploads/cars/saab/C1344412/1999-saab-viggen-60b10404d7b66.jpg?ar=4%3A3&auto=&fill=blur&fit=fillmax&h=600&a...

Anyone got any genius ideas?
If you're doing lots of miles, the R design seats in the Volvo are the nicest seats I've ever been in.

I now have a Jaaaaaag and my own house. Was the Ferrari a casualty of the divorce?

How can an RS6 feel big considering your company vehicle?

Very much this. I was really impressed with the traction they found in boggy bits and how well they coped with rocky steps.

Agreed.

I had a lovely nap and caught the highlights on youtube so quite enjoyed the race.

Yeah, they're not perfect but show a push into inclusion and show that there's a limitation to the science that hs been done.

Good work on reading them all, though. I wondered if anyone would.

I can thoroughly recommend having a crack at green laneing.

Especially if you go to a pub with a comedy name for lunch and let the owner of the car have a couple of pints so you get to do all but one of the routes.

Just to clarify, so do you mean he thinks there is little difference with men and women in general with regards to sports and how gender affects performance ? Dave! Did you just assume their gender? 😂 They're non binary so they use They/Them. No, this is specifically in relation to Trans sportspeop...

The viewing figures aren't very good but that's because their target audience don't want to watch the news. They just want their opinions validated in a pithy headline.

Scientifically there's little effect on performance. That seems highly unbelievable. It's a direct quote from my friend who has actually read all the scientific papers on the subject. They sent me a batch or articles to read about this. https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s40279-016-0621-y?fb...

One of my friends is a professor who specialises in gender studies and they're also an international level hockey umpire. Their considered opinion is "It's complicated". Scientifically there's little effect on performance.

Re: How did you end up owning the car(s) that you have now?

XJ6 - Back in 2011 I was thinking of buying an XJR but ended up putting every penny into a house purchase instead. I needed something more practical up until last year when the Saab 9-3 was displaying some concerning issues. Looking around, an XJ6 fitted my wallet better than an XJR so I bought one.
