Re: Not being able to drive VS boring car

They’re a pain in the arse to get blue badges through, they seem to take an absolute age to get, took ages for my wife’s to come. Once you’ve got it you’ll be able to apply for a bus pass too

Money != Taste....also the wonky number plate really helps sell the quality too. "POA" https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/10287493 Love how the advert talks about the aerodynamic efficiency and downforce levels of the car, all of which they’ve fucked with all that tat that’s s...

Re: Any recommendations for winter tyres?

We don't generally get a lot of snow, so it's more for the frosty/icy/slushy weather. We do live on a big hill though where even a light dusting of actual snow meant a RWD car on summer tyres ain't getting up it - see the start of this year where we had to get the Navara to tow the M2 up. It's guar...

We’ve not played anywhere near that level for more than 15 minutes all competition, never mind a full 80 non stop. Hopefully they’ll watch that match and be scared into upping their game

Re: Any recommendations for winter tyres?

We run all seasons on the work vans, they’re brilliant going between warm/dry and cold/wet. As for snow they’re good enough, but full winter is noticeably better. That’s on nearly 3 tonnes of front wheel drive van, on a powerful rear biased 4wd based in Scotland (or am I misremembering where you’re ...

Re: Luton Fire.

I wonder if the car owner would be able to bounce it back to Luton airport over a car park design “not fit for purpose” as it didn’t include any fire suppressing equipment in the form of sprinklers, or any adequate fire containment systems. I think someone needs to be found culpable as that seems a ...

Re: Ubiquitous guess my new car competition

Is Renaultsport still a thing or have they gone over to Alpine now? It got reorganised into alpine and now as the megane is electric only in a weird too-big-to-be-a-hatchback/too-small-to-be-an-suv body style the last proper Renaultsport model has ended and now exists as rs-line branded white goods...

Now Chris Harris has had his fame expanded a televised version of Chris Harris on cars would be welcomed by many petrolheads, stock a few celebs in if you must and he can scare the shit out of them on a fast lap of the test track. A fast lap not a sideways lap too
