Re: Trump

I can't work out if Americans are unaware that the rest of the world sees Trump as a clear self-serving swivel-eyed maniac, or that they are just so yoo-ess-ay, yoo-ess-ay insular that they simply don't care? :? That probably reads as far more derogatory to John Q American than I intended it to, bu...

Re: Weird car wants.

If a Cayman could return sensible mpg I'd be getting one believe me! I often carry 4 passengers but they are always the other half's friends so u can use her car for that! I don't do track days, but my 'heavy' usage gets 24mpg, normal is around 27 and on long steady runs 31mpg. Not bad for a 4 litr...

I am tempted, it can be a nod to turning 50...
I'll be fifty later this year but I'm still not convinced I'm old enough.
I'm 70 and still consider my Cayman to be a sensible 2 door hatchback. :)

Re: Lotus Emira

Anyone here know the Emira's with over the door mirrors? Assuming you meant width? https://www.carsized.com/en/cars/compare/lotus-emira-2022-coupe-vs-porsche-cayman-2016-coupe/front/ Oops! Thanks for the excellent info. I still kid myself that there is another Lotus in me, but the width of n...

Re: Driving Shoes

My partner recently bought me a pair of Sparco driving shoe/trainers. (She reckoned that the blue bits are the same colour as my car). Haven't walked anywhere in them yet though as the weather has been too filthy. Meanwhile my old Pilottis are going strong and are fine to drive and walk in.

Not true !!

I'm very lazy and I hate dark wheels.
And refreshingly honest. Well done that man.

Re: Your fleet running reports

Got my car's first MOT at Sheffield Porsche this week. I also extended the guarantee, Porsche assist etc for two years too. Today a pair of Porsche gloves, some interior detailing polish and a cloth arrived in the post the day before my birthday. Top people and highly recommended.

I used to love open top cars and have had many over the years, but a skin cancer diagnosis a few years ago alerted me to the benefits of coupe versions.
