Watch to the end to see damaged prop (after the pic goes off-line for a few secs)

That would appear to officially be an attack by a RU airplane on a US airplane…,

Re: Ear infections

Horrible. Good luck. I’ve had one eardrum burst from the inside out due to this, and the other eardrum detach itself from the wall of the ear canal to similarly release the internal pressure. Separate ocaisions. Each of them - as you might imagine - “quite painful”. Thankfully both fully healed - I ...

This doesn’t really belong here as it isn’t decent, but it includes yet another group of wealthy Mercuns dicking around.

@Mito Man Doesn't sound right - 5ah is ample and whilst I can't remember what model you got - 1300nm should be a pretty hard hitter. Stoopid question, but you do have it on the highest setting? (mine has 3 levels, I think Scott's monster one has 4).

Re: Talk to me about Mondeos

tim I know it isn't aiming to be a full-on sporty model, but I believe they handle pretty well. I also understand they respond very well to a remap, but the cost probably doesn't make much sense at this point in its life... :?: (Wheels should be 6.5J, so you can fit a 225/50/16 on there in place of...

Halfords do a basic low profile trolley Jack for £55 https://www.halfords.com/tools/garage-workshop/axle-stands-trolley-jacks/halfords-2-tonne-low-profile-hydraulic-trolley-jack-657099.html I have that one. A real strength is that it is relatively light and easy to move around. It is indeed pretty ...

I think part of my problem with Fall was that it occurred to me quite early on that - with the length of rope available - they could probably have lashed up something using the same principle as this, and it then continually annoyed me that they didn’t try it. No idea if it would work with thin bare...

@mik - what sort of rattle gun have you got? Again, after dicking around for way too long yesterday, I decided I should have one of those because I'm lazy. this is what you want. https://www.dewalt.co.uk/product/dcf900n-xj/18v-xr-brushless-12-hog-ring-high-torque-impact-wrench-bare-unit?tid=572971 ...

Re: Good socket set

As you will hardly ever use them, someone will suggest you must get Snap-On professional stuff. ;) Halfords own-brand stuff still appears to get decent reviews. I am still using my dad's old Halfords socket set - must be at least 35yrs old now and is still doing fine. Despite the ratchet having seen...

@mik - I just ran out of time to get any decent pictures, today was crazy with work and then a really short time to get the wheels swapped. Of course, when I went to start, the jack wouldn't fit under the car, so it was one of those little jobs which went on and on... I'm just messin' :D Am I right...
