We had a couple come in - we caught them both with humane traps and dropped them off a few miles away. Not seen any signs since.

Poison just seems like a risk, because they'll die somewhere random and you'll never find the smelly corpse.

Treated Steve to a few parts. Struts cost less than the bits of plastic (covers for where the roof bars bolt on). Hopefully weather holds out to finish off the dashcam wiring tomorrow. Yeah, I do mine and the mrs car the first time I drive them after the date. It takes about 15 seconds to do.

A friend of a friend had one for years - he bought it at around £10-15k and I remember him saying that he was using it less because it was then (must have been 2015ish) worth about £40k and he was concerned about damaging it.

cooking spec 964s aren't that rare. I suspect they might be now - the last 911s which used the original body (OK, not the original original swb) so quite a few will have been modified to backdate them. I doubt anyone will be adding impact bumpers or 964 plastic valances to a bare shell in the futur...

I'm not sure I like any of the wheel options. The Fuchs style in all silver look better to me though.

Yeah, the wheels are nasty. I like the interior though.

I don't think these restomods take anything away from the originals - I expect most are based on cooking spec cars rather than cutting up an RS, and cooking spec 964s aren't that rare. I think there's room for all - and they're bespoke - so not each one will not be trying to suit every persons taste...
