Re: GTA 6
Seen the map was also leaked https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FvTS_FPWwBACRqY?format=jpg&name=4096x4096 No wonder it's taking them so many years, each of the smaller cities is the size of Los Santos. I love that it also retains the original Vice City map which is now minuscule. Is that too b...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Depends on the type of car, for me. I was the 5th (maybe 6th) owner of my seven year old Elise. People like to own a certain type of car for a short while then move on to a Boxster etc the repeat with an S2000.
I’d probably swerve a 10 year old 3 Series with 6 owners.

Re: Megan & Hazza
There's also the question of the huge power imbalance between Meghan and Harry's family, like if she did feel uncomfortable, did she feel she could speak up or leave the conversation. Speaking up in person is one thing and maybe difficult to do, but judging on how vocal she has been over the last f...

Re: Megan & Hazza
I'm prepared to be cancelled but I don't think talking about how a mixed race child will look is in itself, racist. I does depend on the words used, tone etc but I've had more than one similar conversation with mixed race families while they're expecting. This. Lots of assumptions being made and co...

Re: Mental Health
No direct experience of this but there was an interesting Panorama episode on private clinics and their diagnosis of ADHD - basically everyone who walks through the door gets a diagnosis and a prescription, which isn’t cheap and is for life so there’s a clear incentive for the private industry to ov...

Re: Today’s want
I really quite enjoyed working on Gavster's Smart last week, so I'm eyeing this up for a bit of fun: https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/G9wAAOSwZedlW5Ck/s-l1600.jpg https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/266521132626 Is the catch. It could easily be a totally borked engine. But for £400 it's super-tempting. Back i...

I’ll grab some of that. I used to drink the 5% one at uni.
This was also a regular purchase in Amsterdam. Tasted decent too.

Estoril 16/15.
The Cerbera rims are lovely, on a Cerbera. Too big for a Griff.
Edit: aren’t they off the 4.5 Cerbera, so not base model?

Re: CBD oil
What have you been using Gav?
I’ve always had trouble getting to sleep, my brain just doesn’t want to shut off for the night, but I generally sleep through once I’m off. I’ve started now waking up a couple of times a night for the last few months too.

I’ve had Elise/Z4/Boxster. Roof down definitely does add more than a little something to the experience for me. The Elise and Boxster were both garaged. The Z4 wasn’t, so took a bit of looking after. Not sure I’d get another soft top without having a garage. Elise roof was obviously a pain in the ar...

Re: EV Thread
Got in a Model S 75d taxi last night. I’d never been in an EV before so asked the driver to give it the beans. He immediately pulled to a stop and did an emergency start
Wasn’t bowled over, to be honest. I was a bit drunk and it was the lowly 75 model, but still meh.

He's now got a very fancy hearing aid that's bluetoothed to his phone. Can change all the profiles from the phone, even leave the phone in the middle of a pub table to catch all the conversation. My Dad has those. They only work if you remember to put them in though 😂 Impressive things though and n...

Re: Crumbing parents
Luckily my folks are doing well, they seem to be pretty healthy and strong for their late seventies. Bar a few minor health things which I guess are inevitable, they're doing alright. Mine are much the same (75 and 76). Dad has had a knee and hip replacement and takes a few old people’s tablets but...

Re: Epic Dad Moves
When we used to visit my Grandad in Halifax my Dad would often drop him off at his local on our way home. If Mum wasn’t in the car he’d always do a handbrake turn in the pub carpark.
