Re: Which hoover?

Nice review Mik. What made you decide to pick this one out of the other brands out of interest? https://www.independent.co.uk/extras/indybest/house-garden/vacuum-cleaners/best-robot-vacuum-cleaners-b2349451.html We'd kinda narrowed it down to the Roomba J7+ or this one. The former seems to have str...

Re: The ebay thread

https://www.carandclassic.com/auctions/1991-bmw-e30-325ix-estate-gOpO5n I haven't noticed the "pre-bids" note previously - not sure what the benefit of submitting one would be for the buyer (?). What are pre-bids? A pre-bid means you're able to place a bid before the official start of the...

So you are actually banned? Temp or perm?

(I used the HSV section of PH when I had the VXR8, but never used much outside of there and haven’t been active on there for years).

Some decent machines in there :o
I nearly turned that off when they spoke about the 250 being put back into drums. I know fook hall about this specific model, but it smacks of reversing a genuine driving upgrade in the pursuit of originality for a garage queen. Meh.

Re: Which hoover?

Following the impressively middle-aged excitement expressed by a relative recently around the convenience offered by their new robot hoover, we picked up a TP-link (Tapo) RV30 Plus a week or so back. https://mybroadband.co.za/news/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/TP-Link-Headline-Image.jpeg We wanted one ...

I'm sure you don't all need a link, but even though I played most of it at 1.25x speed, and some at 1.5x speed - I still enjoyed the sleuthing. 8-)

Re: State of the Roads

Didn't Flewy tell a story about his dad carrying in his car a can of the paint they use to mark up these potholes, and making a point of marking up additional minor road apertures when he came across painted-up sections of road :?: Best tip I've seen is that once there are some potholes marked with...

Re: State of the Roads

Don’t know if it works in scotlandshire though. Good link Harry - I just checked and there are a few issues documented around my locale, and clicking on them reveals a comment that the correct council entity was noted 2mins later - so it does appear to work for us Jocklanders too. I've been using t...

Re: State of the Roads

I'm considering reporting all of the pot holes and damaged speed bumps on my normal daily routes as I'm just waiting to damage a wheel and/or tyre at some point and to have any hope of getting some money back from the council they need to have been told about them (I think). Although I still suspec...

Re: It’s time for another forum cycle/vehicle disagreement

Given the massive rise in segregated cycle lanes that feature these kinds of priorities on side roads, there needs to be a lot more education for drivers about how to deal with these junctions and rights of ways, especially in cities. It's this for me. In both of those Greg_N twitter vids the junct...
