Re: Your fleet running reports
Is that the only packaging it had, a couple of layers of cardboard? Both clusters were in a single layer of cardboard, as was the crownwheel. They went to the effort of making a wooden box to put it all in, but just dropped it all in there to rattle around in transit. http://i125.photobucket.com/al...

, but we’ll stick to Torquay this year - it’s the English riviera!!! Rich, go to Cockington, its like the village that time forgot. Really nice for a short visit and they do a lovely cream tea. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Torquay/@50.4637407,-3.5597307,432m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x486d055...

Re: Plastidip morons
I think Dan plastidipped one of his Elises once? AFAIK it was decent enough for a short term colour change. Looked OK in the pictures Yep, I did it because I didn't like silver elises, although i've changed my mind on that since. It was great for 150 quid, looked good and gave me the colour change ...

Re: Pizza ovens
I read some reviews that were saying you really only had about a 2 min window to cook pizzas as it loses the heat so fast, is that not right? Nope, load of nonsense. It takes about ten minutes to get fully up to temp, as long as you keep the hopper topped up with pellets it’ll keep running flat out...

Re: Pizza ovens
Everyone loves a pizza obviously! I was looking at the uuni pellet ovens and was keen til I discovered after 10mimutes you have circa 120 second cooking window. :| I have also had a challenging experience trying to get a homebuilt traditional one hot enough in a Scottish Winter after many hours of ...

Remind me what spec it is, its a K series on throttle bodies right?
It sounds more likely to be crank sensor or throttle position sensor. The coolant thing might be something else.

Re: Your fleet running reports
 Long story, but it got sickly Sunday night, seemed to go away after a short drive. Drove it up Monday but it reappeared and got progressively worse. Spent the day trying to figure out what it was but no definitive clue. Limped it home. That pretty much brings us up to date. Trying to work out...

Re: Best car you have ever driven?
A short drive in a 458 at a Sixth gear day was enough to leave me utterly smitten. 996.2 & 997.2 GT3s also completely spectacular, with the 996.2 just edging to for me. Inevitable bias, but I still love the intensity of mine. Cue Crocodile Dan-dee with “that’s not a Lotus, THIS is a Lotus” in 5...

The mic for the noise meter is just after the first turn on the left, so if you're worried, coast past it like this...
I was given the noise board first lap out, you get one chance there.
