Re: Overdue service?
Zenith is way nicer than silver... Well, that certainly explains why it's less desirable and a lot cheaper ;) Swapping engines over is not a big deal, a long weekend should cover it if you crack on and have the rights tools - especially in this case because the engine needs to drop *down* from the ...

Rev (formerly of this parish)... How's he doing ? He's still blocking me on Facebook so I've no idea what he's been up to. He’s just bought a second non-rusty 996 with a fucked engine. Good luck to him. Yeah, those rust repairs to his existing car must have been fucking scary if buying an entire ca...

Re: Who is living their best life?
Last night I had a very vivid dream that I had been chosen to die on Monday and I was spending the remainder of my time running around upset about that fact. I reckon the stuff on this forum this week has really got into my subconscious 😂 Dream? No, I called you about this - you're my sacrifice to ...

Me - "I'm suffering from Depression" Him - "You know what you should do, quit your job and start your own company. You will HAVE to succeed, otherwise your family don't eat so that will force you out of your depression" The little problem with that is that having to succeed does...

Anything FTTC is still twisted pair for the last stretch - Fiber To The Cabinet (then no further...). That includes any VDSL, and G.Fast.
Anything FTTP is a fibre right through the wall of your house to a media converter, which changes it to CAT5.

Re: Project Binky
I suspect the references to the absence will be brought up in the next one, given the 'how hard can it be' over the dash binnacle, at the end of the episode - so if they're doing it in order (which they kinda have to) and they had to do all these bits first, then I can see why they'd not be able to ...

Further minor updates - got a decent desk, set it up and my goodness does it feel better than the argos special I've been working at for the last year. I can now actually install monitor mounts to the desk because it's stable enough, so got a dual head pair of monitor arms and just umming and aahing...

Not part of my fleet, but related to it - I joined a Bentley Continental group on Facey-B to see if there was useful info to be gleaned, but it’s almost entirely inhabited by people who do this: 343780381_224403333534354_5499857011135696101_n.jpeg and this: 341186774_184865720617608_154436132235533...

Is that all the wheels? Did they actually try a different set? All 4 yes. Arnold Clark have allegedly twice...Peter Vardy say all 4 are scrap. Theres about a million weights on them which is in that video. Try that link. https://evcvideolive.blob.core.windows.net/a4a5bf3f-1aef-4d21-b11b-a0bfe6755fc...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Only noticed yesterday that the small patch of rust in the leading edge of the passenger side front wing has started spreading, so guessing the panel is fucked in behind it. Suppose I'd best think about that at some point in terms of replacement. Looks fairly bolt on, at least. Yes, pretty simple b...
