Re: Decent Recent TV

I binged it at the weekend and agree it's a great watch, really entertaining and well paced. It feels like it gave Guy Ritchie enough space to fill-out the characters and plot lines that wouldn't fit in a 2 hour movie. Just on episode 3, while driving the McLaren " the clutch takes some gettin...

Re: Selling Cars Privately

Slight topic twist, which of the dealer options is best/easiest to deal with? FiL is wanting to sell his car (62 plate Mk6 Golf Match 1.4TSi DSG w/70k miles) as he'll probably have to give up driving due to health issues. Either way it is a second car that spends most days sat unused in front of th...

Ah, I completely forgot that - we probably had a full conversation about it and everything  Did you pull the fuse (for obvious sensible reasons)? Neighbour had a mate with an M4 come around the other night with a similar problem, and he said he blew the line through with a compressor, so I mig...

I watched Dune last night and at points the soundbar was deafening but you could still barely hear the dialogue.

Re: Your fleet running reports

Just went to the E46 and it's battery is low (currently charging in the house), and it got me thinking. M135i has stop/start. Eventually it'll get to the stage where it's battery will need a charge or a jump - are there any considerations for stop/start cars when it comes to battery packs jump star...

Re: The Paperboy

I bet the newspapers aren’t as heavy as they used to be, too. I remember the Sunday Times 25-30 years ago being reading matter for the whole week. I had a Sunday paper round in the 80s, with ones like the Times and telegraph you had to put them through a bit at a time as you couldn’t fold them to g...

Re: No F1 thread?

Solid job by Bearman. That comment extends to his race performance too! Very impressive debut, especially as he was thrown into the car last minute. Honestly, some other teams need to take notice of this and get rid of their drivers which have been in F1 for too long, and sign some new drivers whic...

Why is Sargent in F1 still? Does he have a billionaire father too? The fucker is over a minute behind the next car, he’s never getting up to speed.
His uncle is a billionaire.

Re: Harry’s Garage

I didn't fully follow the story. So the mother took the kids to a TVR dealer and let them pick whatever TVR they wanted? I didn't really follow that either, I struggled to hear some of the dialogue on the video to be honest. I genuinely don't remember reading anything about the Scamander before, bu...

I think this is my second choice for our new car now, after a C350e, as I can't drive that fucking horrible 2 Series.
I'm impressed so far, mine is the F30, the newer ones have a longer range.

I've memorised it already, which has been handy for insurance websites etc  It'll probably go at some point though - the mate who gav...
