Neither would I, but an F is £30k base, V6 Exige is almost £38k. And I'd have to have a roadster. And no, the £35k one at Oakmere isn't an option, it doesn't have AC and it's Yellow.

F-Type

I'm getting impatient waiting for an Evora that ticks my boxes. I'm also looking at S3 Elise's ('cause I'm quite missing mine already and they're my safe-space) but I've also been looking at F-Types (the V6S, I can't stretch to V8's)

Any good?

Re: Up GTI

They seem to be really popular. I like them, but not at the current prices  Suprisingly few options. Only Silver, Red or Black paint, interior is tartan cloth only, 1 wheel type. Most options were minor styling things (deflectors etc). Then it's just a few others like cruise and slightly better...

Re: Mrs SSO & her Maserati GranCabrio

Love those Masers, but by god, the running costs. As someone on PH said about the GT "I knew I was in trouble when the specialist told me to fit the cheaper Ferrari 599 version of the part"

Re: Your fleet running reports

I recently drove mine back from Inverness to Oxfordshire, having done NC500 and the gear box whine combined with the drone was what forced me to pull over rather than the ride or seating position. The S2s have longer gearing than an S1, which is part of what makes them more useable but it's still n...

Ever bought a car blind?

Because I'm getting older with a considerably shorter attention span and an even shorter level of patience, I can't be bothered traipsing half way around the country viewing cars or going into dealerships pretending to be 'interested' like I used to 10 years ago. I'm tempted just to pick one and run...

Re: Your fleet running reports

I really, really want it back now. 8-) I had no idea you'd sold it TBH! When did it go? I keep looking at that yellow Exige Roadster at Oakmere. I know it has no AC (which isn't why it's not sold and therefore would be a nightmare to sell on) but it's the only one just about in my budget ;) I'm ove...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Elise sold. Purchased for £10,500 in August 2016, sold for £12,800 in July 2018. Completed 2000 miles. Great car. Always loved the Elise and will certainly have another. This one was cosmetically quite poor, however the 135 engine is the best K-series I've ever driven. Dan did an outstanding job on ...

Re: E3

I think the graphics shown are about right for what you would get on a PS4 pro and a 4k TV. I've seen God of War on that setup and it looks absolutely amazing. It'll be close, but I don't think PS4 can pull those kinda little "details" like the awesome lighting and shading they've got goi...

I think Dan plastidipped one of his Elises once? AFAIK it was decent enough for a short term colour change. Looked OK in the pictures

Re: Your fleet running reports

Never really like the Europa. It has an odd shape. V6 Exige is lovely. It'd have to be a Roadster for me though - I prefer the cleaner looks, plus the removable roof for extra summer sunshine (and yes, I know you can remove the coupe roof too). If they were in my price range, I'd be really, really t...

Re: Your fleet running reports

The Elise failed the MOT :( the horn gave out while being tested! New one fitted, and otherwise it's a completely clean MOT for the new buyer who picks it up in the week. Despite selling it, I still love the car, just needs more power and longer gearing for the type of driving I do. I've been lookin...

Re: Decent Recent TV

Started on S3 of Mr Robot and it's still as bonkers and enjoyable as the first two seasons. S2 was weak IMO, but S3 was hugely improved. Westworld is just incredible, that latest episode was just wonderful television. I really, really need to download season 1 and watch it all again as there’s just...

Re: E3

Annoyed there’s no date for this. Obviously I’ve preordered it though The only game I’d be more excited about would be HL3 I wish they'd stop these "gameplay" video's at E3. It's so heavily scripted and it'll barely play anything like that. It does look incredible but like pretty much eve...
