I wonder how many of them spotted in the wild are the 3.3?
They did a 2.0t petrol and a diesel of some description as well iirc.

Re: New car itch
I'd go XFR or RS or XJ Supersport over an XKR if you need rear seats.
I went to see a XKR last week and the rear seats aren't really usable, I'm 6'1 and my 6 year old couldn't sit behind me in his car seat.
How much are Giulia quadriflololos or whatever they're called used?

Linseed oil works well, needs a top up every few months though.

Thermostat housing or coolant pipes sagging and catching over the gear cables.
I have a set of N14 Silicon Hoses somewhere, I'll have a look for them.

Re: Your final internal combustion engined car
I'm definitely having a 4.2 supercharged V8 before i go electric, no sure what in yet, XJR or XKR, probably the XJR as it makes more sense practicality wise. A C6 would be nice, but I don't have time to be faffing about with cars endlessly right now, and it would constantly need fiddling with, which...

I hope he has reinforced pants to handle the weight of his clearly ginormous bollocks.

I've been going to our head office in the XF every day for 2 weeks to train someone, about 18 miles in heavy stop start traffic each day, 16.4 MPG if that makes you feel better!

Re: Your fleet running reports
I had Crossclimate + before and they were good tyres, lasted about 18k miles on the front and about 22 on the back.
The Goodyears have more dry grip for sure, and are better in the wet, especially when braking.
Crossclimates seemed better when there's ice and snow about, but not much in it tbh.

Re: Your fleet running reports
Just ordered a set of Goodyear Vector All-Season gen3s for my Audi. I will probably put them on the current 18" wheels rather than the 18" winter wheels; the current Conti Premium Contacts on them have 5mm+ remaining on each but they date from 2012 and I've done about 18k+ miles on them. ...

Re: 4 Paw Dog Drive Fleet running report
Our dog must have jumped up at the front of the hob when the dog walker came at lunchtime today and turned a (gas) hob on. Had a phone call from the wife at 5:30 saying she walked upto the house and could smell gas before she even got in the porch. Had windows open for an hour and it still smells a ...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Always interested in alpine stuff if you find any ;) Would like a Kenwood 7050 or 9050 if you find one lurking… I think it may all be a bit new for you unfortunately. I've got 2, or maybe 3 W808 and W707 DMasks, I'd have more but Royal Mail lost one I sent out, and they lost a Double Din Nav Ke woo...

I'll have to dig some of mine out and ebay them, as I can't ever see them getting used now.
I've got all sorts of Kenwood and Alpine stuff knocking about somewhere.

I think I'd have about 15 cars, a couple of caravans, a couple of motorbikes, and a motorhome with a garage under it for abroad.

Re: Car Insurance Renewal Roulette
Just had the renewal through for the XF, 443 quid, 170 more than last year!
Managed to get it for £303 in the end, not sure what the price increase was based on, but it seems other insurers disagree with Avivas risk assessment.

Paintless Dent Removal
Has anyone has any experience with this?
I've been quoted 180 quid to remove 3 dents in the roof of the XF which I think the roof bars caused
They haven't seen it in person, only in pictures, which I found it odd to quote from, as you can't really see much.
Any companies to avoid/use?
