Brilliant Nef - you're now the second person I know who has bought a speedboat, drunk, at an Auction. Mind you, at least you were at home, the other guy was at a physical auction, drunk when he bought his. I'm sure you know this but there are a few basics you'll need to arrange before taking ...

Re: Race Car

I can tell you that in the UK construction industry you're not likely to hear people use the word 'truck' at all, it would just be a 'dumper' whether front or rear tipping. The only exception is 25t rear tipping dumpers which tend to be referred to as 'Moxys' regardless of brand. :) Whereas in the ...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Accord has had the clutch changed. I'd forgotten what having a fresh clutch is like, no longer do I need Herculean strength to change gear. Annoyingly the cruise control has stopped working now.

Re: Milk Security

How much milk were you drinking?? Just a gallon of gold-top morning, noon and night? Calorie defecit required to lose half a stone (roughly 3kg) is around 23,000. A litre of full fat milk is around 650kcal so if we take Jimmy's suggestion at face value that it was cutting out the milk that resulted...

I've never understood the love for Defenders. They just seem to be useless at everything they do. You look at it and think it's a relatively spacious, utilitarian off road vehicle. But what it actually is, it's a cramped, useless rattlely box, that's held together by "fuck it, that'll do" ...

Seeing as we're complaining about clutches, the one on the Accord it's way out. The garage quoted £550 to replace it, as it's a front subframe off job. I'm giving ita damn good ignoring at the moment, whilst telling myself that pumping the clutch pedal is a good workout for the 80's Italian superca...
