Re: Phones offers & deals

My wife has a 12 Pro Max and I have an XS, and I honestly can’t see any reason to upgrade to a new model. Not sure I like the square edged shape of the new ones either; they’re not as nice to hold and it makes them look thicker. So I recommend USwitch for a comparison of SIM-only deals. I’m paying ...

That does not bode well for the infrastructure for the future. Is it specifically Teslas or is it all EVs?

Non, that’s what I use the aeropress for. If you want a machine with a jug I’ve heard good things about these https://javahubcoffee.com/products/moccamaster-kbg-select?variant=34550403432601&currency=GBP&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campa...

I am struggling to remember anything even remotely funny since the Radio 4 announcement that God Save the Queen was being replaced with an EU anthem. Allegedly Prince Charles' office contacted the EU to ask for details. :D

For the ftao of coffee machine owners

My filter coffee machine is leaking from the bottom, through some wiring it appears so am going to retire it before it cause serious problems. It is a Russell Hobbs which is only barely out of it's guarantee. We had a very basic Krups one that lasted a decade. Had a look and £400 for a bean to cup K...

Re: Mercedes Groups

People should know that when you have a mighty W124 or W126 we are better than those who buy plastic trash anyway 😎. Dave! Although mine fees pretty solid, I think you may be right. I still regret not buying an 86 W124? Estate in a fetching blue. If it had been a nicer colour I might have done but ...

Ha ha, I see I am not alone. TBF, they are quite handy when your sunroof sticks open for instance.

Mercedes decal puddle lights are popular but FFS don't have an AMG badge on your AMG line or you are just scum of the earth. If you want an AMG badge go E63 or go home

Re: Decent Recent TV

The Falcon and Winter Soldier is good so far. I liked their "married couple" vibe that bubbled in Civil War and it has popped up in the series now too. SLIGHT SDOILER FOR EPISODE 2 I was interested to see the white cops accost them during an argument and very much go for the "Is this ...

Re: No F1 thread?

Well I quite enjoyed the race. Would have been netter with Perez up the front to help with strategy but if it is that close throughout the season I will be happy enough. Shame for Alonso but if that is indicative of his performances next to Ocon, I think Ocon will struggle to retain his seat.

Re: F1 2021 predictions.

Like everyone, I am just hoping for a scrap. I wonder if Max or Lando won whether that would encourage Lewis to hang on for an 8th or more? Not sure Perez will qualify up front but his long run pace wasn't far off that of Max, so he will probably move forward through the race. Sainz was a surprise i...

Re: The Movie Thread

Yeah, I watched it at the weekend. It was hit and miss, some of the extra background I thought was good and it seemed to do a far better job of ushering in future films but it felt a bit samey with the whole "Get the armada" similar to Thanos' "I'll do it myself" or whatever it ...

Re: The Movie Thread

I watched the Snyder Cut last night and surprisingly didn't hate it. I think going in with my expectations at rock bottom helped. Still don't understand why it's in 4:3 and the last half hour can pretty much be avoided, it's all just fan service. Liked the rest of it better than the original though...
