Re: Home CCTV

Are there any good solutions out there for motion-detected cams which can use battery and solar power only? Looking for something I could stick on a shipping container which would be in the middle of a field basically, for a bit of extra security... I use amazon blink cameras. They run on lithium b...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Then, amazingly, another rare unicorn item appeared! An Alpine G-320 digital sound processor / equaliser / spectrum analyser. The only ones which come up for sale are usually in the US or Mexico, not cheap to start with and adding import duty / vat makes them absurd. Perfectly period late 90s acces...

Re: Selling Cars Privately

so you wasted one of the two's time by not following through on your offer? I sent a very quick, direct and clear message offering a low price, I also followed up as quickly as possible when we secured another vehicle 150 miles closer to home. All they had to do was say 'yes', 'no', counter-offfer ...

I can get the 900 but I’m too tight to pay the extra £20.

Ive got SKY 500 FTTP i usually get 550 meg down and around 80 up. Service is rock solid and their support IME has been decent in the odd occasion its not.

Weve also got sky Q. It uses the mini boxes for wifi mesh.

Have you been taking any other notes on this, other than in here? Nah. I don't even frequent other forums nowadays. I'll occasionally drop into the Ferrari one but it's mostly quite irritating - widespread obsession with "factory gated 6sp manual" and humble-bragging about how much they p...

I assume you've tried just cleaning the jets? :P I'm not getting a response from the motor when trying to wash the rear - like at all - so I doubt that'll help! Ah. the BMW washer motors are shit, I'm replacing one every year on one of the cars. They just sit at the bottom of washer tank and corrod...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Couple of minor compact updates. Before Christmas I managed to find a very rare compact armrest / centre console setup. I’d been looking for a couple of years, even considered buying a car with one in just to take it out and sell the car on 😂 The leather cover was trashed, so I pulled it to bits an...

I had a vague memory of that but wasn't sure. :? When first fitted he reckoned it was marvelous - can you remember why he then removed it?
Wanted more steering feel. Ive not watched yesterday's video yet to see the comments.

Another from the nice chap on a bike. We should start a book on how long before he actually gets hit by a car when he actively puts himself in dangerous situations due to complete lack of hazard awareness.

I wouldn't bother with an outdoor swimming pool here, let alone Ireland! I don't much like an indoor pool - the atmosphere gets rather humid and there's a lot of pleasure to be had from being in an outdoor pool on a sunny day. You're definitely not going to use it all year round, but I think I'd qu...

New sporty red toy has arrived. https://i.imgur.com/7E8cxy3.jpg It has a V-twin but does not sound like a Ducati. Maybe needs an Akrapovic. The key looks very easy to bypass with a screwdriver; Lock Picking Lawyer would not consider it terribly secure so it is obviously now locked in the garage. Lo...

To run ACC you need a series X. Its shit otherwise. laggy, Frames skipped ect. PCARS 2 is about the best on xbox but they fucked it by releasing the utterly dog shit PCARS 3 which scuttled the franchise. You can play Forza 8 on xbox one x using cloud gamin if you have decent internet. ITs slowly get...
