Re: Car Hire Costs
We found the same when looking at America. A Tahoe had gone up from circa £600 for a fortnight to over 2 grand! I've heard it's slowly coming back down, but still crazy prices. Villas have shot up too. It's almost like the old days when trips overseas were for the elite only.
Re: P&O
Oh great. I have a crossing booked with them in April  Well, I went with my gut and booked another crossing with DFDS last week in the hope that P&O would cancel the crossing, which they just have. They were using other companies to complete their bookings, but you had to turn up and hope...

Is that a plastic cap or the hose crimp it's coming out of? One bonus is that at least it's easy to spot where it's leaking from!Sundayjumper wrote: ↑Tue Apr 05, 2022 12:33 pm Nope. Bullocks.

Re: Will Smith (is not dead)
I think he deserved a slap. Being a comedian doesn't automatically grant you a free pass at everything. It wasn't a joke about a group of people, a race or religion. It was a direct joke at one person. He used a clever joke to hide behind what was basically him pointing and laughing 'ha ha, that wom...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Holy shit, that was a ball ache! So much has to come out to gain access, it'd almost be quicker to pull the engine Slave cylinder was fubar, sadly contaminated the clutch so I've had to replace it. Should find out if it all works again tomorrow morning! Do not recommend.

Bad luck, a Renault being a Renault unfort. I'd lend a hand if it wasn't for the 300 mile trip  Cheers! My 'never buy a Renault' has come back to bite me already! TBF, it's just unlucky. Could happen to any car, any time. Luckily my mate lives up the road from where she broke down, so I was ab...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Ugh. Maddy's Twingo has shat its biscuits already, dumping her on the side of the road. It made a screeching noise, then wouldn't allow her to select a gear. Luckily I was on my way home from the shithole that is London, so could swing by and take a look. My gut prognosis is that the slave cylinder ...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Looks great! Shame about the offset exhaust, though surely you could get the 25mm back from the 'U' pipe? Cut 25mm off the end that goes into the smaller box and slide it to the right 25mm?
Good to see someone still doing trackdays! We mostly seem to have become boring

Re: Petrol the new toilet roll
I feel sorry for my daugter and all the other kids that have just passed their tests. Used car prices at an all time high, fuel price at an all time high. Even her tiny Twingo tank costs £60.00 to fill now. Everything has gone to shit since Brexit. Covid. War. Fuel. Food. That's what I'm blaming, de...

Re: Holidays 2022
We've got our 2 year delayed holiday in Duinrell in April. Still unsure they'll let us in by then TBH, so it might get pushed again. Then we have Calpe in Spain in September for my Brothers wedding, but I've yet to book anything yet as I'm sick of being dissapointed!
