Re: Coronavirus
So you did see some businesses shut. Right and they are all criminals, okaaaay then. Utter fucking shite pegleg. Hop off. I think you missunderstood you fucking spoon. They shut on purpose as they made profit from Covid. They'll start again under a different name. Crooks exploiting a loophole. Surp...

Re: Coronavirus
To be fair, I do know a few businesses that did shut, but these guys were smart in that they took the 10K handout, took the bounce back loans and then closed up for good so they won't have to pay any of it back. I hope they get caught out, I really do, but it looks good for the Broccers type braying...

Re: Coronavirus
None of the above is true. In fact, quite the opposite. Many new businesses started this year, and existing ones still here and growing. Being in this trade, I see it first hand. It's funny how the ones that bemoan and denounce the strict rules are the ones that are doing everything in their power t...

You never restore a car to make money though. Surely everybody knows that?
You do it because you want the best version of that exact car.

Re: Coronavirus
I'm intrigued at how you think this would have played out if there were no global response at at, let it run its course if you will. I'm guessing there'd be plenty of people still saying "well, it's only a 25% chance of dying if you catch it"

Re: Your fleet running reports
Changed the boot struts. Being 6 foot tall I am a perfect height to open the tailgate open fully with my head whilst I swapped the struts over (only took 6 minutes as only held on with spring clips). Cheers for reminding me. I kept twatting my head on the Auris' (hidden gem edition) tailgate as I'm...

Re: The ebay thread
My old man has had plenty of cars growing up. The only one I remember fondly is the Rover SD1 V8. He didn't even have the Vitesse, yet that's the only one I would ever wish to own. I wouldn't even cross the road for the 2600 version (he had one of those too) so yeah, I don't get the love for boggo v...

Re: Glasgow is a ***ing long way
Not sure if it's still relevant with modern cars, but I had a customer who would buy 3 or 4 transporters worth of cars from Scotland as the were cheap as chips but all rotten, bring them down south, blow over the rust with stoneguard and flog them on with a new MOT and 3 month warranty. He made a ki...

Yes, great series. Noticed they used Frees Avenue on the Castle Combe to RAF Lyneham segment. Great bit of road we enjoyed on the Southern meet a few years back.

Interested to see how you get on with the 20mph cut off. Will it be enough, or will you need just a few more mph for it to be ideal? Keep us posted!

Re: Anyone big in Crypto?
I looked into it for about 7 minutes years ago when there was grumblings about it. The second I started reading about mining and e-wallets, my eyes glazed over and I closed the browser page. I've never looked back even though I could have been a millionaire or something.

We did Orlando Disney and Universal a few years ago and then did Disney Paris the following year. Was just as hot when we went as it was in Orlando and we all agreed that for a single park Disney Paris was better than all of the US ones. Thank Christ for that! I've been spouting this for years only...

Can't wait for Sunday - I've had a ride up and down the street, but that doesn't tell me much as they stop assisting after 15.5mph, I need to use it on the tight twisty ups and downs. I expect I'll be derestricting though! https://i.ibb.co/K0vLJxf/B226-F6-A3-6185-4-A87-ABBA-849-C0-DC78-B0-B.jpg I f...
