We inherited my grandads John Deere and seems to do the job, the farmer over the road bought a very similar one of his own.
I had to put a new cutter belt on it last summer but hasn’t ever needed anything other than the odd oil change.

Re: Your fleet running reports
The no towbars on M cars thing is historical and a bit annoying. Understandable I guess from the e46 on where the exhaust gets in the way, but even e30 and 36 don’t come rated to tow and have exactly the same floorpan and mounts as the regular versions.

Re: No F1 thread?
Aren’t all of the launch cars pretty simplified versions of what will actually turn up at the first proper race weekend?

Re: Randomness
Strange that they used a fiat 600 not an 850, which is much closer in size and layout to the imp. Maybe it was too expensive?

Re: Tedious but traditional New Car thread
Neither m3 have any form of it, the rc in the compact is actually pretty good just find of smoothly blends out the power. Not sure if it also gently brakes a spinning wheel too. In the really deep snow a few years ago I was definitely able to make much more progress with it on than off. Kills the fu...
Re: EV Thread
I would quite happily have a funky cat for the commute IF I could charge for free at work. The petrol savings would make it effectively free and save wear and tear on the cars I actually like. Would absolutely just be an appliance though. But I can’t, and I guess by the time you add increased electr...

I think it’s things like where it accidentally clipped the box and did a little stumble which it recovered from very quickly and naturally which are impressive. But then maybe it should have been more aware of its surroundings and not clipped it in the first place. You’d think it’s movements would b...

I bought an old e30 off Tim and an e36 off Unzippy. I also later bought back my 316i compact which I had part-ex’d against the e36

Re: Car insurance
A few of mine have gone up a little, the x5 came down a decent chunk and is actually the most reasonable of the lot considering the size / weight / only having a years no claims against it. Anyway, yesterdays insurance calamity…. Had a renewal through from esure for the mito, but with the reg number...

I was going to say on the musk video, why does the robot need to have a human shape head? Maybe just to make them less scary, but I guess also a decent place to put cameras. Tbh that still looked a little clumsy, you’d have thought it would be able to tell it hadn’t quite lifted the strut high enoug...

Re: 1.6 Tonnes is the new heavy
The push to get everyone back into offices to help coffee and sandwich shops is somewhat at odds with easing congestion and reducing pollution when public transport is often crowded and unreliable. I rarely bother going into town because roads are clogged, parking is a rip off and public transport l...
