Re: The song/music thread

I've been enjoying Five Finger Death Punch of late, and rediscovered 30 Seconds to Mars "This Is War" album. The former was a chance discovery after Spotify carried on with similar things (musically I it was correct, not thematically) when a playlist ran out. The latter is a good way to in...

Re: The ebay thread

I think there's a hint as to the level of "special" in the seller's name.

Re: The Movie Thread

Wakanda Forever Blimey it is long, and boring. I fell asleep for about half an hour or so in the middle and still had no trouble following the "story" when I woke up again. I liked the absence of all the usual Marvel characters, and applaud the attempt at expanding the canon, but they cou...

Re: Interiors that have aged well?

I think most non-fussy screen-free interiors age better than anything with a screen, especially if the screen is small. Despite being a much older design than the Zoe I think the Galaxy has aged better. Zoe already looks dated with the small screen when you see the facelift version.

ZedLeg wrote: Thu Mar 09, 2023 11:02 am IIRC the 75 and ZT never had more power as the engine only fitted in with rubbish heads. Maybe the same with that.

I remember them claiming that the SV-R could come with 1000bhp but I don't think they ever built any with that much.
Didn't the V8 only make 260bhp from the 4.6 due to that?

Re: Your fleet running reports

Stop/start on the Galaxy works fine, don't find it disruptive at all. But it is an older system and in a manual car, so only kicks in when the car is (nearly) stationary, in neutral and the clutch not depressed. Very easy to plan around. I actually liked the Vauxhall version best. Engine didn't star...

Re: Today’s want

I won't call it a want as such, but the Merc R Class is something I'd never noticed before. Seems to be halfway between an estate & a full size 4x4. Are they any good ? A cheap practical barge to replace the Vito ? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/364168026695 My dad had one as a hire car. Large, six...

As a hiring manager at big corp I can confirm you're definitely not wrong. The process is glacial. See what happens.
