Re: BBQs

I didn't bother getting a cover for my Weber - the old Outback cover seemed to act as a wonderful home for snails and insects rather than doing anything useful to protect the bbq. The Weber cover doesn't reach the ground so hopefully no snails will make it up into it: https://product-images.weber.c...

Re: FAO Mobile telephony users.

iPhone SE is hard to knock, except for the ageing physical design. £419 for 64GB but probably worth buying the 128GB for £469 to get maximum longevity out our it. You’ll likely still get software updates for it in 4-5 years time, which is more than can be said for most Android phones. If you want An...

Why would you join that queue? Once to queue builds to like 30 mins or so, it’s going to look really long

Re: Post Covid Plans??

People have spent the last 5-6 weeks tidying their houses and gardening, combined with loads of councils cutting rubbish collections  No it’s like everything else that just opens, stupid ridiculous queues as everyone can’t wait a bit. Everyone has to go there on day 1. I don't think there's a...

That wont replace his Hi-Fi system though, will it?

The loudspeakers on the phone, at full volume, will work though. Don't forget that Spotify has an equaliser for "Loud" in the Music Quality settings

I watched it. Thought it was interesting. It certainly trailed off towards the end.

Re: Lockdown cookery thread.

Can people post their burger recipies, I've tried making them a few times and they have been absolute disaster. Beer mince. Diced bacon. Tiny amount of tomato puree. Oregano. Pepper. Mix it all together. Form into burgers. Fridge for like 30 mins or so. Then cook. No egg. No breadcrumbs. Just meat.

I stand by my choice that Choc Digestives are better in the fridge. Buy some, put them in overnight and tell me I'm wrong.
