Re: Lego
There's something not quite right about the rear of the Ferrari 488 GTE. Ordered the McLaren Senna and the Jeep Wrangler. I wish Lego would scale up the wheels. On quite a few models, the wheels are a bit small for the arch.

Lose a couple of stones, find a new job, move down south permanently (shivers).

Thanks everyone. @duncs500 yup, first one.

Re: The Watches Thread
It'll be interesting to see how much they charge when compared to Ebay and Chrono24. Ebay (US anyway) has recently upped their game in terms of guaranteeing watches are authentic so buyers don't get screwed over, and more protection for sellers too. The service will filter through to EU soon.

Re: No F1 thread?
Great to see Perez win. Sainz might have had a good chance of winning if they didn't pit him under virtual safety car, him and Riccardo were unlucky. Bottas, as usual, is crap.

Re: The Watches Thread
If I'm honest, it's going to be tough to get one if you've not bought from the AD before. However, go to your local AD and tell them you want one for a big birthday, you never know. It's maybe worth a punt isn't it? They can only say no/laugh in my face 😉 Just be honest with them, they can sense if...

Picked up a new Sub today. No idea how WoS managed to open for collection only while 99.9% of retail shops in Glasgow city centre are closed. I didn't even put my name down for one but couldn't turn it down when they are currently getting flipped for £10k+. Bonkers to think back in 2017 you could pu...

I wouldn't be too harsh on Tag. Rolex finishing on their GMTs aren't great either. Screencap from Watchfinder again on a £30k white gold GMT: https://www.dropbox.com/s/f977z6t1344m450/Screenshot%202020-11-28%20173725.png?raw=1 Only Grand Seiko give you close to perfect finishing at the level of Pate...

Pete: nice shot and the Explorer 1 is a fantastic piece. Mik: I've got a spreadsheet of watches I've bought the last two and a bit years and it's over 50! Watches I've made the biggest profit: * Rolex Submariner 116610LN (now previous gen). Wished I kept it a bit longer due to the current cra...

Re: No F1 thread?
When will Merc sack Bottas? Hamilton yet again totally destroyed him. Of course, he's a great no. 2 driver but it would be fun to watch a Verstappen or Riccardo to challenge Hamilton. 3 poles and two wins against Hamilton this season - don't confuse Bottas being shit with Hamilton being brilliant! ...

Getting pretty fed up of this. I have a fair amount of cash - from selling the boys old toys and a complete clear-out of my old hifi/TV setup a few months ago. So I've a few hundred in my wallet. Yet no fucker wants it! It's been there for literally months so is probably the least likely to be 'inf...

The RS6 now just looks ridiculous and not in a good way. That front gap (or air vent?) between the bonnet and the bumper just looks horrid.
