Re: Griff Wheels Pole

An excellent poll Mik 😀 Estoril 15/16 all day long. Duncs view is the correct position, but I have a slight soft spot for the smaller splits on the black car. 7,8 and 9 would earn a look of disdain from me, it's one of the most wheel sensitive vehicles ON THE PLANET. Also Tuscan style headlamps were...

Re: Gordon Murray T50 Live Launch

Gearing discussion is all well and good, but when are Meaden, Harris or Bov going to spank this round a track and some European twisties in a Yowchoob video :?:

Re: Your fleet running reports

Yep had it fifteen years this year, and obviously had one before that too so will be very strange. Think I've had my fill of the impracticalities now tho, must be getting old. Probably a cheap Boxster next, so expect a hand wringing bore scoring thread soon😀 Caterham to Elise, it's a well trodden p...

Re: The 'suggest a new car for Chris' thread

Couldn't get the handling balanced, even after factory upgrade path, visiting race teams. Engine was never as responsive, even after throttle bodies, new management etc. Had to stop sending good money after bad so he said. Anyway, I loved it when I went in one for five minutes at the Autosport show ...

I really like the G40, but a guy I know had one, was very disappointed in it, spent a lot on upgrades and ended up back in a Caterham :?

Dan concluded the garage didn't tighten the crankshaft pulley bolt when changing it... They did quite a few grands work to support this theory!

That's what it's all about Dave, makin' memories. Nice one 8-) Was the gearbox problem an easy fix in the end? I made a few memories myself today, spent the afternoon at the services waiting for a low loader 😂 https://i.ibb.co/fFxv3jV/IMG-20230711-WA0006.jpg Story is the cambelt was done in the mor...

Killers of the Flower Moon.

Enjoyed the sado-masochism ;) and it sure is pretty with great performances across the board. Loved the ending too and not just cos I was dying for the loo. I'm a big Scorcese fan though so my opinion probably isn't that valid.

Re: Aston Martin Vanquish review

If I have a car in the garage which doesn't get used that much, I guess it would be better for it to be a classic which shouldn't depreciate rather than a new car which will. Wonder how much more or less reliable a 20yr old Aston would be than a new Alpine? In terms of a car that sits in the garage...
