Re: Delta Futurista

I don't see the appeal. It looks a bit odd and loses the history of the original car. Also, how much moolah?

Re: PSA Auction

Brown 504 Coupe and white 404 for me please. Could also be persuaded by the 505 Turbo.

404 would need to be redone with brown velour interior and manual winding sunroof with yellow wind deflector to be a replica of my dad's old one (sadly long gone).

Architect has submitted plans to the council to fill in the gap over the kitchen extension on the first floor. Joint application with neighbour as they've wanted the extra space for years. Also knocked down old shed https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/yovqGHSpFAusB4aXi1uZKhN-zbx4lRxlLDD0mK6V3Ybq_Pnj9O...

Re: No F1 thread?

No penalty because sauber would have had to lodge a complaint, and as sauber are the team equivalent of Kimi they’ll just roll over and take it Ah, I wondered about that, it did not get shown on the live F1 feed on Sky and I remembered it being mentioned by MB and then nothing. I guess that explain...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Are we allowed to know what engine ideas are formulating Ste? Are you going to have to cut a hole in the bonnet for example? 8-) Honest answer is I really don't know. I was at Owen Garages having the tyres fitted and was talking to Olly that runs the place. He's convinced it needs a screamin...

I finally dug out my SUN019 (the Seiko which makes the Big Freaking Kinetic look small) over the weekend. It needs a good thorough charge because I probably hadn't worn it in 18 months so the cell had totally discharged. The size of it is part of the joy of it; it's heavy and you feel that on your ...

M56 East -> M6 South -> M5 South to Weston-Super-Mare. 35+ miles of 50mph roadworks on the M6, a set of 30mph roadworks on the M5. What a fucking joke. In contrast, driving just shy of 2k miles in France and there was one slowdown significant enough to be felt (it wasn't even on the Paris ring road...

Re: “I can see from your Out of Office that you’re on holiday, but...”

I'd suggest that you've got a structural problem then. House of cards. And I'm in the middle, on the bottom row. I can't be the only one who doesn't trust others to do their job right? As that's the real reason I can never have a proper holiday. I have a few people I trust to get it done right (whe...

Not unique at all, have many colleagues that either don't take leave or do work when they're meant to be away. My view is that by doing that you're not forcing the business to fix the issue, but, as you say hfc.

Seriously? Learn to have a holiday! My OOO says who is covering what and includes a "for anything else speak to my boss".

My work phone/laptop will be on my desk I will be in a different country. No interest in work when I'm away.

Saw a Ferrari Mondial in white on the M25 and some kind of road legal (I assume) track thing that I couldn't identify. Looked a bit like an Ariel Atom, but with body panels. It was going the other way so it was a very brief look. Any ideas of what it could be? Could have been a single seater. Single...
