Good point. I may have too hastily considered them greedy bastards in my head.Sundayjumper wrote: ↑Tue Feb 21, 2023 7:57 amOnly on the first £300k, it drops to 12% for the remainder.

So in the past I have tried yellow-lensed “night driving glasses”. Yes we have discussed this before. Yes there was some sniggering at the back of the class. I never found them beneficial when it was fully dark - in that scenario I prefer my eyes to receive as much light as possible and I didn’t fin...

Re: Lotus Emira
Not being able to drive the Sport and Touring before having to order seems a real pain though. How far out from build date do you have to finalise your choice? Not sure tbh. And I have just realised that there is a way to compare the two back-to-back. 8-) So long as you are prepared to travel to He...

Re: Randomness
The new South Park lampoons Harry and Meghan and is absolutely top-level ridicule, they’ve summed it up perfectly as they embark on their ‘Worldwide privacy tour’ 😂 https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMYkKeWoo/ Although they push the boundaries somewhat - as is tradition - that is very funny. I was snorting at ...

94 is a good enough run - RIP.
Likely Half Man Half Biscuit will make some royalties as everyone goes back to take a listen.

Re: A celebration of well filled arches
OB 928s came on 15" teledials, S through to S4/GT came on 16" and the GTS came on 17"s. There are a few people who put 19" Panamera wheels on 928s but they a) look fucking ridiculous and b) utterly destroy the ride and handling. 19's sound awful. :( Much like the 944, 16's work ...

Re: Lotus Emira
Also - seeing some unrest on the forums - several people (or people they know) cancelling their Emira orders due to delays in build-date, difficulties getting a test-drive, and a recent £2k price increase. Dealers do have (as I understand it) one car each, and at the moment test drives are only bein...

Great colour / ride height. Just needs silver ( painted not diamond cut ) wheels 😁 this. those. I know his style isn't loved by many, but as he is an ex-Evora owner (Evora 400 - ie a "series2" vs my "last of the series1") I did want to hear his thoughts and comparisons, which he...

https://youtu.be/nZVHiKWeCO4 Our Harry about to argue with The Harry about "too low"?? ;) I enjoyed that. 8-) Great insights from Pooky - who I've followed on twitter for ages, with interest in the stuff he's developed for the Alpine, but had no knowledge of his credentials. Respect. Proj...

Some great aurals in this vid 8-) . Check how close spectators are to the track at points. Old track layout, when Conrod straight ran all the way down to Murray's corner without the Chase corners breaking it up a bit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8CR_tLFPkE And said Chase bends are visible in th...

Re: Official Countach disagreement poll. No it isn't. Yes it is.
Mik, none of us bothered to read any of that. I still have that copy of Fast Lane so read it in the 1980s. So for at least 35 years it's been better without the rear wing and that won't change. Does it mention anything about lift or stability? (I've probably got a copy...somewhere...). Yes. Martini...
