Re: The Movie Thread

Now you see me... Ridiculous. Full of plot holes big enough to swallow the sun. You don’t have to suspend your sense of disbelief, rather you need to sack it for gross misconduct and walk it off site looking sad whilst carrying its belongings in a carrier bag. It’s very slick, fun and enjoyable des...

Re: Suspected dead things in wallspace :(

Can you just drill a little hole into the wall cavity and have a sniff?

If you can smell the death through a wall, you’ll deffo smell it through a tiny hole

Netflix Original - also applies to things like the later Arrested Development seasons, they’re certainly not that original

Re: Decent Recent TV

Who is America is getting a bit stale already, isn’t it?

Feels like Sacha got about 3 episodes worth of good content but was asked to stretch it to 7 episodes

Re: device for snapchat?

How much do you want to spend? Phone or tablet? (Phone is the correct answer here) An alright phone that’ll do it could be £50-£100? Moto C - £65 Nokia 2 - £80 For a bit more Huawei Y7 2018 - £130 Samsung J3 2017 - £140 If it were my money, I’d look at the Nokia 2 or the Y7, and probably choose the ...

Re: Decent Recent TV

I’ve just got into Better Call Saul Half way through season 1 and really enjoying it. I could probably do without the flash back scenes, but it’s a good way to flesh out characters. So far, a very worthy BB spin-off Noticed there's a new season out last night. Might start it tonight. I like how Bet...

Re: Ladders

I think my gutters are blocked. They might be broken? But for years, during heavy rain, they've over flowed.

I need a ladder to reach the gutters to have a look

I don't own a ladder that tall

After this (what I hope is a) 5 minute job, I'll probably never need the ladders again

Annoying

Re: Camera thread

I just don't think anything but high-end cameras justify carrying a separate device for everyday photos. So a DSLR and a decent phone ftw. JLIC The camera(s) is currently the thing phone manufacturers develope hardest to try and differentiate themselves from the competition For that reason, the cam...

Re: New iPhones

Fingerprint reading seems a much better thing for Apple Pay than Face ID. I don't mind Face ID in principle; my Surface Pro does it for logging in. The thing I dislike about the X is the notch at the top of the screen. I’ve used a X since launch Face ID is much better and faster now since when it l...
