Re: Favourite photo of your car
Whatever wheels, they need lowering at the front. The 19s were the wheels for the flashy new m3 at the time, but personally I really like them lowered and on the 18s with spacers and suitably chunky track focussed tyres.

Re: No F1 thread?
Quite a good race to be honest, but jeez the circuit is hard on the eyes.
Surprised merc didn’t pit Lewis after max came in and leave bottas out to hold him up so Lewis could stay close without using too much tyre and be in a better position to fight at the end.

Re: New Car Day...
The few I’ve seen in the flesh always look way wider than in pics. I wonder if that’s part of the tramlining issue, they’re physically an odd size for their weight compared to most things on the road.

Re: Decent car YouTubes
Enjoyed this, especially the first 2/3rds with the e30 and 190 anyway. Not overly annoying for an American YouTube’s.
Don’t know what suspension the e30 is on though but it looks awful, with the front end bobbing and bouncing around.

Re: Your fleet running reports
I’ve been so tempted to bin off the mito and use the golf as a daily when I’ve finished with it. The only thing that puts me off is the lack of aircon. I’m getting soft in my old age. Oe stuff is available, but silly rare, not sure what aftermarket retrofit options there are but bet they’re not che...

Re: The House Projects Thread
Been there done the metal in the eye thing a few years ago. Thought it was just a bit of grit but got increasingly irritating over a few days so went to the docs who made an emergency appointment at the hospital. They did the whole drops and pointy things into the eye thing. Pretty unpleasant experi...

Re: The ebay thread
They usually come with a big square airbox, but I guess as they’re only ever fun occasional use cars now people leave them off for more noise, but yeah, I’d be wanting proper trumpets and a fine mesh cover as a minimum. Tbh the foam sock filters I had on the metro did very little in the way of dampi...

Tracking was probably fine, it had just been done by someone lazy who only adjusted one side to the wheel didn’t sit straight.

Can’t remember the last time I saw one on the road
What are their plans for it?
Apparently the mgtf Epas column fits which might be handy on tighter arm twirling stuff. A couple of the tf racks are quicker ratio too although I don’t know if that’s at the expense of some lock.

I know this might be a crazy idea, but you could just bin off sky.
We use freeview and have Amazon because I have prime but can’t remember the last time I watched anything on it.

Re: FarmerOwned
If the guy was parked on private property, the farmer should have called the police, and got him moved. Lol. If you could get anyone out you’d be lucky to see them within 24h Even then what will they do? It’s private property they’ll probably tell the farmer to arrange his own removal with a privat...

Re: FarmerOwned
He doesn’t actually hit him with the forks, the bloke trips over while trying to get out of the way as it swings round.
I’d class it as his own stupid fault for being that close to a farmer in a rage in a piece of heavy machinery with big spiky bits of metal sticking out.

Re: Randomness
I had to drive from Norfolk to goodwood last Friday and was dreading it, but it was smooth sailing all the way, even at 5pm on a bank holiday Friday evening. A minor slowdown where you join the m25, and another one as you start to go over the bridge, but never actually came to a stop and cruised the...
