I use an old jump starter with integrated air compressor for most things, I just replaced the battery in it a few weeks ago, £25 and hopefully it lasts another 10 years.

Re: Euromillions immediate purchase
Ha, I’ve thought about this too much because our woodlands has a village 3 miles away which has a prick living in it who is pretty similar to Gavsters neighbour in terms of having far too much time on their hands and being a nuisance. Current record is calling the police whenever someone is cutting ...

Re: Full Fibre
I’ve had full fibre for many years with Hyperoptic, 1gbps which it actually does when I do a Speedtest through my PC which is connected via Ethernet, otherwise WiFi is about a quarter of that. And no, I don’t need 1gbps but whenever I go to renew my contract after 2 years they give me this for the s...

Re: It’s time for another forum cycle/vehicle disagreement
Under the new priority system pedestrians always have right of way. The red man signal for pedestrians merely alerts them to the fact they should be more cautious. Technically under the new system traffic lights for pedestrians and pedestrian crossings are almost irrelevant as a pedestrian stepping ...

Oh yeah and the rear wash doesn't work on the 135i, and apparently checking the motors is a wheel off, inner arch out, entire wing off job. Think I'll live with a mucky rear screen for now  I assume you've tried just cleaning the jets? :P I'm not getting a response from the motor when trying t...

Re: Harry’s Garage
I thought I was misremembering so searched the original article https://www.ezpowersteering.nl/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/octane2.pdf The retrofit electric steering system just sat on the rack and if turned off was meant to be no different to not having the system. But you could turn it on at low sp...

To be fair at least it's only a wrap. That's no more than a days job to pull off, remove the pimp tints, remove wheels, paint callipers silver and stick some OEM wheels on. Then again you might pull off the wrap and find a mess underneath... By the way, have Autotrader removed the feature that compa...

This is all getting a bit much and taking up too much tabloid space. I reckon they’ll intoxicate her driver and send her down towards the Hindhead tunnel in a supercharged XJL with the rear airbags deactivated because the car had her child seats in the day before. There will be an unfortunate diesel...

Motorway bridge photography wankers
Had a right old scare today, I may have been travelling at pace on the M20 when at the last moment I caught a glance of a person in high vis with a laser like device pointing directly at me. Too late to do anything. Such was my paranoia, already thinking about what the fuck I’m going to say in court...

London at the weekends/peak tourist season is shit. But I guess every massive city is the same in that regard.

Figured out why the X5 boot wasn’t operating smoothly, https://i.ibb.co/pWKRC5d/IMG-9990.jpg Right hand boot strut had snapped in half and only held together with the telescopic sheath. Surprised it’s lasted this long as the actual frame of it is made from a brittle crap plastic. As for the cheap Al...

Yeah I didn’t wanna post it as it came across badly but my first thought was the judge probably bottled it and didn’t want to be that guy who made a family homeless.

Re: Your fleet running reports
I think they’re almost worthless at least near here. People offer to take them away for free where they presumably get paid a better rate than £1 at the metal recycling place.
One day there will be a massive lead shortage and I’ll be sitting on grey gold.

Car mass production is mind blowing
Also there’s people actually checking the paint and panel gaps right at the end, and they’re still so bad
