Re: This might be a contentious one...

Facebook is for the psychologically fragile, the extravagantly stupid and the terminally self-absorbed. Fuck Facebook and every knobjockey who uses it.

Re: Labour

I just object to seeing individuals and firms being able legally to avoid paying their due. Crazy talk, multinationals not paying their taxes is good for the country because they bring loads of shit paying jobs that the government has to subsidise while moving huge amounts of money offshore or some...

Re: Labour

It annoys me to see Centrist has become an actual insult these days (typically Centrist Dad) as that probably best describes my politics, and I think in reality probably describes the politics of the majority of people: - capitalism is good and has lifted more people out of poverty than any other e...

Yes, something suitably condign should be easy to orchestrate. Cage-fight to the death against Farage, say?

What nef said. I mean, May is a cipher (and a hollow one at that), the current cabinet are a bunch of no-mark careerists under siege from the hard-right headbangers, Boris is a shitcunt, JR-M is unspeakable and the whole shower of useless bastards really ought to be locked in an ISO container and dr...

Re: Your fleet running reports

928 update - all is well, had a good run down to the New Forest and back at the weekend and it still turns heads (mine included). Contemplating a bodywork restoration over the winter plus finally sorting some trim and upholstery issues, but mechanically it's running really nicely. Huzzah!

I was going to talk you about that - I'm not sure I requested some of the "services" you seem so intent on invoicing, in fact I think most if not all of them are, if not illegal as such, then most definitely immoral. Anyway back on topic - how about Rameses Niblick the Third Kerplunk Kerp...

Names are tricky JL - depends on her surname for suitability... My other half really wanted an Irish name but just about every Irish name, when combined with my French surname, sounded like a STD... The mind boggles. JL: combine your surname with some others: Malignant Little Wingnut <ex's su...

Re: Whose car will break first?

It's got to be the Ranga, on basic principle. Though there's always the possibility of something fundamental imploding on the Toerag... I think I have 4 days in the "how long will the HoyleyMobile work before it breaks down" book. As for cost to fill the tank, pfft - the 928 has been costi...

If that had been a Ryanair plane it would have missed the Alp and ended up 80km away.
GPWM. You still get smeared though, albeit a substantial bus journey away from the originally intended site.

Re: Ryanair

They're amazing - even when being given the ginger stepson treatment on takeoff they're essentially silent. 380s are very cool - I had a rear-facing seat on a BA flight once and looking down the leading edge of the wing on take-off was most impressive. You can see the wing starting to fly considera...
