Re: Bristol bans diesels
If doing something about it just moves pollution to other UK inhabitants, then..... yes. If they can do something about it without moving pollution elsewhere - great. We use hardly any coal now with more than half our electricity being zero emission, nearly all our fossil powered electricity comes ...

Re: Rev’s 1KRPM to the limiter in 3rd Fred
I tried this today. I think I got to about 8 seconds of off boost where the award winning 2.2 diesel engine is so guttless, it got to about 2300rpm, I gave up  Plus I now have 6 points so am terrified of doing 100mph anywhere now. There seems to have been an explosions of camera vans again. I ...

Re: Decent Recent TV
Just saw David Attenborough’s latest program. Excellently produced as always, just getting a bit tired of every segment concluding with death of the subject matter due to climate change. It makes me depressed watching how upset he gets at how shit the human race is so i don't watch his programs any...

Utterly beautiful cars, I always expect a car that looks like that to sound like an Italian V12, muscle car noises just sound a little bit misplaced to me

Re: The Movie Thread
Terminator: Dark Fate That was proper entertaining and a great return to form! Plot and universe full of holes as you'd expect, some quite unbelievable physics, but still very good fun. Definitely one to recommend. 8/10 Rev. 9s I'd agree with this and I was ready to dislike it after some poor revie...

Re: Laser Engraver
That is bloody brilliant I have done everything in my power to resist buying a 3D printer and 3D scanner as I have a history of going way over the top in home tech projects like this (when it was launched: Canon 1Ds and 4 L lenses come to mind ...) But now I must have a laser etcher/cutter, 3D print...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Yes. Same as Barry it looks to have enough range to be useful as a way to do the basics and try out the ev experience for a short lease. I had a sit in one at a local dealer and it looked pleasantly interesting & well equipped. Good choice Barry, I look forward to seeing how you get on with it....
